I have had the pleasure to work with Noel on a 26 units project in North Beach. As a plumbing sales consultant over the past 19 years I've been involved with many designers and have seen a bunch of styles on a wide variety of projects, Noel executed with as much beauty, harmony and comfort her designs is uniquely inspired by and created for each individual owner. highly recommended

I worked with Noel to completely renovate the kitchen and great room, 2.5 baths, laundry room, flooring and closets/doors in the entire house. It was a significant project which took over a year. We have a 2400 sq ft home. Noel and I clicked instantly. I stumbled upon her business profile on Houzz and her portfolio caught my attention, specifically the before and after photos. For someone like me, who knows what I like/don’t like, I have a hard time visualizing what’s possible. Her portfolio helped me see the transformation. I needed someone who had the design eye and expertise to understand what my preferences were, give me 3-5 choices to pick from, and oversee execution. Design is important, but function and longevity are key. She understands that. I don’t live in a museum. My home will be well lived in. At the time I reached out to her, I had already started the project. I had completed architectural plans and a contractor. I knew I bit off more than I could chew and desperately needed help with finishes. Noel is professional, has stellar project mgmt skills and extremely client oriented. Communication is key and she leaned in to bridge the gaps between the suppliers and the contractor. She understands budget and is honest when the task is more cost effective for the home owner to take on. In those situations, she has a list of resources to leverage. We couldn’t implement all of Noel’s ideas during Phase 1, and I look forward to Phase 2 when we can bring my wraparound bar to life. Noel’s a gem and I can’t wait to work with her on future projects!

We were blown away seeing a recent kitchen renovation we saw. The way our door was incorporated into the design allowed it to be the hero or off to the side nearly out of view. Great job creating a seamless indoor-outdoor space. Excited to see what's next! #PanoramicDoors

I found Noel because I needed fireplace ideas and she had posted several I liked on Houzz and on her website. I also needed someone to help get our downstairs remodel over the finish line. All of the construction was done, but we had hit a wall on making decisions and it was overwhelming to think about putting rooms full of furniture together and finalizing the details. I hesitated reaching out to Noel because we were a fairly small job for a full-service designer, but when I finally decided to bite the bullet, Noel was immediately responsive, and she found a way to work me in. Even though we started early in the pandemic when everyone was doing remodeling projects and I know Noel was incredibly busy, I never felt like we were getting less than her full effort and attention. We got the fireplace done above and beyond my expectations, and somehow managed to find furniture even when delivery times have been ridiculous. Noel has helped me finish rooms that just needed wallpaper or paint and art, and rooms that were entirely empty and needed everything. Throughout it all, Noel and her assistant Meghan were attentive, creative and flexible – they brought the same excitement whether it was picking out some wallpaper samples and a rug or a room where we needed a whole look. What I really appreciate about Noel is that, while she has an overarching style, her designs and ideas are not cookie cutter. When I look at her other projects, it doesn’t look like she applies a template to every house or room. Even within our house, we’ve done a range of styles from casual and family friendly to more semi-formal and bold and Noel always has great ideas or a spin on an idea that makes the room look special and thoughtful. In addition to being a fabulous designer, Noel has great contacts and resources – all of the painters, wallpaper hangers, contractors, cabinet specialists, marble/stone specialists etc. that we’ve used have done great work and have been a pleasure to work with. Noel has been wonderful with communication and because of my schedule, the pandemic and many other things – a lot of our interaction is email and text. She sends me designs and ideas so I can review and provide feedback when convenient – and she is always on top of it, responsive and doesn’t seem to drop any balls or lose track of details. Since our initial projects, we’ve done two bathroom remodels – another area where her creativity and eye for detail really shines – and we’ve got more planned for next year. I couldn’t be happier with what we’ve done so far and while living in a construction zone is never fun, I’m looking forward to what we come up with next.

I started out thinking I could design my own Master bath remodel and just work with the contractor. As I visited tile, flooring, vanity etc. I found myself getting quite confused and not able to make any decisions and feeling overwhelmed. One day I was having lunch with good friends and telling them my predicament. They referred me to Noel and said she is a personal friend who helped them with their Master bath design. So, I gave her a call and right away she and her assistant came over to consult with me and hear what I needed done. Noel was very professional and right away gave me some ideas. She told me right off the bat that I needed to get rid of my closet that was in my bathroom. I wasn't too keen on that idea since I've had that there for years. She suggested I move the closet to open up into my bedroom side. Boy, that was the best suggestion for my closet! It turned out great, so instead of sliding mirrored doors in the bathroom, it's now two regular closet doors that open into the bedroom side. During the remodel, she had the Master bath design sent to my contractor and they spoke very highly of her job. Very thorough, good communication with them, and they got along quite nicely. A few times I wanted something different and she was open to any changes that I requested, very agreeable to most of the changes. She seemed to know a lot about why I couldn't make certain changes, so I took her word on it! She was good at communicating with me via text but also periodic phone calls which I liked. She has a good relationship with her vendors, having used them for many years on her projects. She gets things done just by calling the vendors when and if there is a problem. There were a couple of issues on my project but she took care of it in a timely manner. A couple of times I purchased items but changed my mind for another style or look and she got her assistant to work on making the changes right away. Noel doesn't hesitate to make that call to see what she can do to make it work. I am very happy with my Master bath remodel. Her guidance on the tile, fixtures, colors, all turned out great! I couldn't have done it by myself, no way! Noel made the process so smooth and less stressful for me. Thank you Noel for making my Master bath and closet space a place that I'm very proud of. J.W.

Noel is an incredible designer. She has impeccable taste. She’s a pleasure to work with. She truly listened to us, understood our needs, and with her masterful eye and choices alleviated the stress that comes with a major home remodel. Really grateful for her! Noel and team helped us do a near-full remodel of our newly purchased house in Redwood Shores. Overall we couldn’t be happier with our experience and her great work! She has a great taste of colors and designs. Great attention to detail and quick turnaround on the project. She was very flexible, adjusting the design according to our needs and suggestions, but nicely balanced that with opinionated (always good!) suggestions. Throughout we had the feeling that she was always well on top of things, making sure things are ordered in time. Beautiful space drawings; everything nicely collected and organized in Dropbox. She works with amazing suppliers with great customer service and good quality work. On the financial side, her bills clearly outline the hourly work and throughout the year-long remodel everything seemed very fair, and she generously shared her supplier discount with us which we’re grateful for. She is very personable and easy to work with. We would strongly recommend her to anyone doing a remodel in the Bay Area!

Last year I purchased a home that had recently been updated. The styling and quality "as-is" was nice but I wanted to get an expert's eyes on it, hoping to make the home feel a bit more "me". Atelier Noël was recommended and Noel came in to do an assessment. Very quickly, Noel was able to identify and show me some concepts that made my "as-is" situation stand out as something mediocre while making me realize that small improvements can make a powerfully big difference. Noel's work was of exceptional style, precision, and she was able to translate my intangible taste into tangible improvement actions. From lighting to door fixtures, the impact of the improvements far exceeded the reasonable cost. The experience, which was on-time and on-budget, was outstanding.
