My husband and I met Ashley Carlton while browsing at Ethan Allen. We had a new home under construction in Naples, Florida and needed a houseful of furniture. We knew that Ethan Allen would be a perfect choice since we could make all of our decisions locally yet have our furniture delivered out of state in one move. Ashley, as it turned out was our perfect choice as a designer. My husband is a general contractor who was impressed by her ability to give us a drawing of our floor plan which showed us exactly how our furniture would be placed in scale. Having that plan changed some of our early choices in a positive way, keeping us from making some costly mistakes. I am a person who loves design but gets mired in the details. Ashley, was able to read my design sense, narrow down the choices, help me make decisions and most importantly, keep everything fresh and well coordinated. She executed the finishes in our open floor plan of a den, living room and dining room perfectly! Ashley also gave us a beautiful master bedroom. We were so thrilled with her results in Florida, that we decided to have her come to our home in Maryland and give it an update. Ashley was able to work with our existing furniture and finish off our living room and dining rooms beautifully. She even convinced me to get some really cool lamps that I would never have picked out in a million years. Needless to say, I love them! At this point we trust Ashley so much that we turned to her for artwork and she did an outstanding job. The nice thing about Ashley is that when she comes to your home she will give you thoughtful suggestions and design ideas that may not even result in a sale. I texted Ashley to make sure my lanai furniture that I was picking out in Florida would coordinate with the great room we designed with her at Ethan Allen. She gave me her thumbs up which gave me the confidence that I was making the right choice. Ashley even flew down to Florida to see our finished project. As you can see, Ashley goes the extra mile to ensure that her clients have a beautifully finished home. She is wonderful to work with and is a professional designer who not only loves her profession but loves design as well.

She also offered her expertise and that made a difference because it put everything into perspective. She also stayed within our budget. She is very professional and we have enjoyed working with her.

Ashley is Outstanding!! I started my project with a general idea of what I liked but could not put it together without a professional. Ashley was that professional. She worked with me and put together the perfect blend of woods, metals and fabrics for my home. She made the process so easy and even came out to my home, to see how I lived, what colors I favored and measured for exact fits. She kept me appraised of the status of my pieces and made suggestions that fit my budget. Ashley was very knowledgeable, professional but she felt like a good friend helping me. Ashley is my new best friend!!! I was stuck trying to refresh my family room. I had recently purchased a sofa and 2 chairs and was having difficulty pulling the rest of the room together. I walked into Ethan Allen hoping to be inspired because I had been all over the place. Ashley was very patient and was able to help me realize my vision for the room. She knew what I was looking for and made great suggestions and she also came out to my home and spent time making sure the items would fit appropriately in the space. As a result, I purchased a coffee table, an occasional table for in between the chairs, 2 ottomans, and an 11x14 carpet. Ashley's expertise was welcomed and needed. She is professional, timely, and collaborative. She respected my taste and I appreciated the updates given about the status of the order. I am currently waiting on the ottomans to arrive, however, the room already looks fabulous! Ashley was just as excited and pleased as I was at the results thus far.
