We have been in the Boise area for decades! We began remodeling in 1978 and incorporated Stronghold Remodeling in the state of Idaho in 1987. We have seen steady growth over the years through new clients as well as multiple projects for clients who have been with us through the years. Quality craftsmanship, an eye for detail and a strong work ethic have been the foundation of our success. We believe remodeling is not just an occupation, but a way of life for us. We love our work. In a world where the only constant is change we are your allies against entropy! We love what we do and we feel it shows in our passion for our client’s projects, our commitment to their satisfaction and our ongoing warranty and support. Our clients know we are professional in our business practices, respectful of their privacy and that we deliver on our promises, which is why so many of our projects are from repeat customers and referrals.

Stronghold Remodeling is an awesome company to have in your home to do your home improvement projects. Everyone from the office, the project manager, owner and the skilled workers are so nice, trustworthy and knowledgeable! My bathrooms had not been renovated in over 30 years and now I am in love!! I also had my flooring replaced in the kitchen and master bedroom and what a marvelous job stronghold has done on them.

Stronghold is under new ownership. Our experience with the new owner, Anthony (Tony) Olivo was awful. We had a preliminary contract with him for plans, permits, engineering, and bids. We only received one cabinet bid and plans, from an independent contractor. Multiple calls, texts, and emails were ignored. We were finally reimbursed the permit fees after more than six months.

Remodeling the entire interior of our home was an amazingly positive experience because of the contractor we chose! Stronghold Remodeling, with Josiah at the helm, was so easy to work with due to their outstanding skills in organization, communication, and envisioning what would look good. Josiah's artistic eye, as well as his commitment to quality work, consistent follow through, and excellent listening habits, resulted in a beautiful outcome that represented everything we had hoped for. We appreciated the weekly meetings with Josiah and Cypress to go over the calendar and budget, and discuss any changes or issues that arose. Both were both personable and professional, and we grew to enjoy them immensely as new friends. The sub-contractors hired by Stronghold were also skilled and delightful. We were completely satisfied with all parts of the project! We would strongly recommend Stronghold Remodeling and have done so with many friends and family members already.

Have used Stronghold Remodeling for many years and numerous projects ranging from minor to major remodels. They only use the best sub contractors, do what they say they are going to do and are pleasant as well as professional to work with. I appreciate their creativity in helping you evaluate various options and associated costs. You won't go wrong in hiring them for whatever project you have in mind!

i worked with Josiah, from Stronghold, to remodel my small kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Josiah has the "eye" to make the most out of the space available and the design he came up with is nothing less than amazing. I am super happy with the out come of the remodeling project and everyone who has seen my "make over" loves the personal touches he added. It was a pleasure to work with Josiah and I encountered no problems with him or his company during the process. In fact, I have hired Stronghold (and Josiah) to do a small project in my garage this fall.

Stronghold has completed a number of projects in our home. The quality of construction is excellent, but Stronghold earns our highest recommendation because of the imaginative design vision of Josiah Stevens. Josiah has a wonderful ability to translate a homeowner's wishes into a workable, affordable design. Our latest remodel project involved a large, open, unusable attic space that Josiah was able to transform into a guest room, complete with a full bath, a fun playroom, and a large storage closet. It exceeded all of our expectations. This was the third project where we have used Stronghold. The others included a re-imagined home office and the transformation of basement space into a small apartment. All projects have been completed within budget and with minimal disruption to the rest of the house. We would definitely consider Stronghold for future projects.
