Valley Fabricators is one of the worst contractors I have ever worked with. We experienced issues with communication, workmanship, AND billing, and the work at our house is still not complete months later, and we're going to need to hire a new contractor finish. As a commercial general contractor myself, I interact with contractors and subcontractors on a daily basis, and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. We gave them multiple opportunities to correct their mistakes and make things right, and they never did, hence this review. Project Details We hired Valley Fabricators to replace our countertops, sink, and install a tile backsplash. Our kitchen is very small, so this should have been a simple job. Communication: The countertop and sink install were rescheduled with minimal notice, and such that we were wondering whether or not the installer was going to show up until we called them directly to confirm. They subcontracted the tile backsplash work and the tiler no-showed 5+ times, again with no notice. The tiler finally showed up late one afternoon (again many hours later than planned) and worked until after 10 PM to install the tile, clearly a rush job. Workmanship: When I inspected the tile work in the morning after the late-night install, there were a few issues that needed to be corrected, which I brought up to Valley Fabricators. They assured me they would get the tiler back to fix the issues. The tiler then scheduled and no-showed 2 additional times - both of which we specifically arranged to be at home for when we had plans elsewhere - at which point we finally fired them and asked Valley Fabricators to either find a new tiler or credit us back for the remaining work to be done. After multiple phone and email follows up, they've done neither. Our kitchen is still not done. I understand hiring a subcontractor that you find out wasn't the caliber you expected, I've done it myself. Not making it right after the fact, however, is completely unacceptable and terrible business practice. Billing: We were billed, PRIOR TO THE PROJECT BEING FULLY COMPLETED, for an amount greater than the signed contract amount. When we asked for correction, they stated they had used more tile than they expected and that was the new cost. Zero up-front explanation was given prior to signing the contract that this was a possibility at all.

We purchased a remnant from Valley Fabricators and had them install it on a new bathroom vanity. The installers were great. However, VF had given them the wrong sinks, so they could not install (glad I stayed home from work for that). They came back two days later and installed, but i was not able to be home. Once home, I realized they installed a standard backsplash, not the planed down backsplash we asked for. When I called, they offered to refund me the planing fee of 100$ or pull out the backsplash and reinstall. Given the two mistakes already, I had no faith that reinstall would go smoothly and I knew I would have to repair paint damage, etc., from them ripping and replacing. When I asked if they would be willing to compensate me for the mistakes (more than just giving me back my $100 they took without doing the work), I was told that my project was not big enough to warrant any sort of refund for errors (by Jen Anderson, the manager). So to be clear, they acknowledged that they made multiple mistakes on my project, but didn't care because I hadn't spent enough money with them (btw, I spent $1500, not huge by any means, but not nothing, and I have a kitchen remodel upcoming so we were using them as a test to see if they'd be good for that...i even told them that). It's not like I was looking for a big refund....but they weren't willing to offer me anything. Nothing. Zilch. Actually, that's not true, Jen did say she was sorry for the mistakes, lol. Absolutely horrible customer service. There are a lot of fabricators out there, go find another and save yourself the trouble. UPDATE: They reached back out to me and offered a 10% discount. Changing this review from 2 star to 3 star.

Our designer engaged Valley Fabricators to cut, polish, and install very expensive granite for our master bath remodel. They arrived over 6 hours late for templating (at 8:30 pm) and were very grumpy. The install date was a full 2.5 weeks later. They called the day before to reschedule for almost another week later. They called the morning of the 2nd install date to tell us that a new employee had mistakenly thrown out our template so they were coming to re-template instead of install! For the 3rd install date, they called to say that our pieces didn't pass quality control, so they needed to reschedule. Finally, four weeks after templating, they arrived to install, but only brought one of the two pieces (the tub platform)! Apparently the counter top still wasn't ready. The tub platform has a noticeable chip that was filled with epoxy, but not properly polished. When the counter-top was finally installed, the crew didn't have the supplies to properly brace the sinks so asked our contractor to do it! The counter top has several noticeable cracks and a significant chip along the edge of one of the sinks that was filled with non-matching epoxy. We asked them to come back to address the cracks. When they did, they said that anything they did would only make it worse, so applied sealer (that they claimed we wouldn't be charged for) and left. The company then charged our credit card for more than we expected, without ever having sent a proper invoice. When I asked, they sent an invoice that listed more linear feet of finished edge and more cut outs than our project had. After pointing this out in email, I've received no response. In summary, the workmanship had issues, but the customer service was ridiculously bad. I would never consider using them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Valley Fabricators did the slab stone work for our residential construction project on Queen Anne in Seattle. Andrey Tokar went above and beyond to make sure we got a quality product - he even rejected a couple of marble slabs we had placed on hold because he saw defects we had missed. The installation was professional and perfect. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience from the start. Contacted Valley about doing countertops in our kitchen, Andrey was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The crew was really respectful and courteous. They did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our kitchen looked great and they met every expectation we had. Professional done and in a timely manner. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Great experience. When you deal with someone who delivers on their promises, it makes you want to do more business with that person. Andrey is that person. Man of his word and best at what he does. I am coming back with new project soon Thank you!

I have used Andrey and his wonderful company since 2013 for all my granite and quartz fabrication. They are quick, courteous, and always do a fabulous job.

Valley Fabricators installed a granite countertop for my new custom kitchen. They were very professional, and I was impressed with how well they were able to blend the different slabs together to create a single fluid motion. The seems are hard to find, and I've been using the counters for 6 months now without seeing any wear+tear.
