We recently completed our new home in Brasada Ranch and Amy Troute and her team assisted us with furnishings and decor for it. After our initial conversation, Amy came to our former home and got a feel for our style, what we wanted to achieve, itemized what we already owned and ran with it from there. We met with her again at her studio and chose furniture pieces and fabrics that were exactly what we were looking for. Amy was there to supervise placement and set up on delivery day and then offered suggestions for additional items to bring things all together that we had previously been unsure of. Even with delayed shipping on a couple of items, someone from her team always kept us up to date as to their ETA. I always wanted a home that was both beautiful yet comfy/cozy and Amy totally helped me make that happen. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy Troute for any interior design project you may have!

Working with Amy was an incredibly wonderful experience. We were living in Portland and had bought a second home in Bend with the idea that we would move in permanently within the next few years. We had no idea what our vision was, but we knew that we wanted it to feel as much like home as our current house, so we wanted her to use items from the Portland house to mix with new things for the Bend house. Amy nailed exactly what we wanted and made the process of picking and choosing furniture, paint, and fabrics so easy. She coordinated everything to be shipped to Bend and spent a day moving all the furniture in, putting pictures on the walls, etc. We couldn't have been more thrilled when we walked in the house because it felt exactly like the home we wanted and it made us so happy to see how she mixed in the new with the old. Amy also worked with us several months later to update our kitchen in the Bend house and update our living area in the Portland house. Her sense of style is fabulous and her ability to create our vision when we could barely articulate it was truly amazing. We loved working with Amy and would highly recommend her!!

After buying my new house I was a little overwhelmed on how I was going to fill the space and get it to look and feel how I wanted. After considering to decorate myself and buying furniture at a local store I realized I needed some help. On the recommendation of someone I know and after talking with previous clients I decided to hire Amy and her team. While Amy gave me a proposal to furnish ad decorate my entire home, she did break it into multiple phases for me as I wasn't sure how big of a project I wanted to take on. After the initial phase was complete and I saw how much I liked how my living room and other spaces looked I made the decision to finish my entire home. By the end, Amy and Kari had helped fully decorate all the bedrooms, office, living room, dining room, kitchen, hallways, and bathrooms and I couldn't be happier. In looking at the final result I am very impressed with how they were able to ask me questions and show me options to determine a style I would like as well as listening to thoughts I had and incorporating in pieces of furniture and art I already had. I continue to be extremely happy with the finished result and have had many friends and family members tell me how great it looks! I have recommended Amy to several people I know and would not hesitate to do so more in the future. Looking back my only regret was not just doing the entire project at once!

We hired Amy to furnish a home that we recently purchased. After spending the better part of the last 10 years living in numerous cities, we had no furniture to speak of so the project was basically a blank slate. We have never used a designer before and Amy will be the only designer we use moving forward. If we had the option of giving 10 stars, that would be the ranking we give Amy. Amy is highly engaged and communicative. She took the time to listen to our needs. Amy has an excellent design eye but what is perhaps most impressive is that she designs with the client's needs and styles in mind. Amy took the time to understand who we are and what styles we like before committing to an approach. Amy also considered the layout and style of our house when looking at furnishings. Amy was able to tie the entire house (7 rooms and 2 outdoor areas) together while creating unique environments in each space. In addition to furniture, Amy sourced some local artists to create commissioned art works that complimented our space and furniture. Lastly, we wanted cosmetic changes made to our house and Amy coordinated all the contracting work for those sub-projects which included new light fixtures, a new island countertop, and accent walls. Amy finished the entire project on time and within budget, all while constantly communicating and engaging with us. Thanks and compliments to Kari as well, who works with Amy. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our project with Amy and are thrilled that we were able to work with her as well as consider her a friend. We highly recommend Amy and look forward to working with her on future projects.

Amy did a fantastic job for us. We had renovated a 2 bedroom basement apartment in our historic home and turned to Amy to design and install everything to make the space a wonderful and welcoming home for our family and guests. We had a specific budget and a real deadline for completion before the holidays and Amy got the job done on the date she promised she would finish with a beautiful result and she was under budget! We met a few times with her to consult on some wonderful alternate ideas for all of the furniture, accessories, window coverings — everything! She thought of everything that would make our guests feel comfortable, relaxed and with all amenities in a beautiful space. We loved the finished product. We thought Amy was great and are already planning on working with her on another project.

It is my pleasure to give Amy my highest recommendation. Amy has a uncanny ability to interpret the taste and desires of her clients and deliver a result far beyond expectations. We hired Amy to help us furnish our 1910 craftsman home, including our master suite, child's room, two offices, guest space, and finished basement which included a full re-design following a seismic retrofit. We embarked on our full-house remodel with our contractor, who recommended ATIID for assistance with selections of surfaces, lighting and finishes in the renovations. We knew we’d also want help with furnishings and window treatments and hired ATIID for the whole project. We could not be happier with the end result - our home is cohesively designed and beautifully furnished - everything we hoped and more. We presented a challenging timeline and tight budget and the team worked tirelessly to meet our expectations. When a few custom furniture pieces were delayed, Amy got creative to ensure we were “move-in-ready” at our deadline, and pulled the finished look together shortly after. Amy and her team have been nothing short of wonderful to work with. What an incredible experience to meet and work with Amy Troute! Being a father of two young children time is not always on my side. She was able to accommodate my hectic schedule, then was also very attentive to my childrens needs as well as mine with the design of my condominium. We were dealing with a small space, so concept was how to work with what I have for storage and livability. I hired Amy to help me refresh my livingroom decor. I wanted a larger couch, to keep but recover my two vintage armchairs and redo the window coverings. She came over to see the space and get a sense of what I wanted. Then came back with a pile of fabrics to start with as inspiration. She pulled tons of things that I probably wouldn't have considered had I been fabric shopping myself but then put all together they came out amazing. She also found the same couch I was ogling at a big name store, for the same price with awesome custom fabric, custom made and it's my favorite couch in the entire world. What we ended up with was chic and modern and beautiful and on budget. She was professional and has fanatastic taste. She also made it seem like I had fantastic taste just by guiding me in the directions that I needed to go to make the room a stand out. I really enjoyed the process, it was very easy and totally fun. We are very happy with Amy Troute's work. We just did a big remodel including repainting the main floor, main powder room, living room (including removing old fireplace and replacing with a new more modern fireplace) and office. She met with us to learn our basic tastes to help us choose colors, tiles, etc. for the different rooms. She also understood and worked within our budget. She had wonderful ideas and and we could not be happier with the way our home looks. It is warm and inviting, and definitely feels like "our home". We still call her to discuss ideas and to help with some of the "finishing touches" and will definitely call on her to help with any further remodelling.

Amy helped us pick out and arrange furniture for three rooms (kids' game room, family room, and living room) in our house after a remodel and addition. She also selected wall paint colors, stain for our wood floors, and gas fireplace inserts. We love all the pieces, (2 couches, many chairs, rugs, ottomans, tables, plant, fabrics and rugs) she suggested. She picked pieces that captured the mood we wanted for each room and made suggestions that I never would have come up with on my own which my husband and I both love. Also she is very responsive, nice and professional. Super glad we worked with her and would again for sure.

We collaborated with Amy on the extensive Grapevine project over the course of 2 years. Her insight and creativity brought a totally fresh look to the stair balustrade that flowed over into many other aspects of design. She took our standard normandy panel profile and radically transformed it into the more floral, old-world style vine we used. Her sense of style and timeless design is evident throughout her work. My husband and I were wanting to update our drab bedroom but had no idea where to start. Having known Amy Troute for several years, I approached her to help us. Amy came to our home and we discussed what items we wanted to keep, what we didn't like about the previous decor and our budget. Amy came prepared with beautiful fabric, photos of furnishings for the room and sketches of her design. Everything she had chosen was gorgeous and fit our style perfectly! Amy's expertise in design, her wonderful personality and her professionalism made this experience so fun! I am not a fan of shopping and am terrible and putting things together. When telling a friend how badly my apartment needed an update, she suggested Amy Troute! Working as a team, Amy and I discussed my budget, her ideas and mine. She was open to my thoughts and worked around the things I had. It was amazing to watch Amy work "her magic" and saw her "small changes" make a "major difference" - new lamps, colorful pillows, a mirror, moving accessories around, added pops of color, to name a few things I was so happy with the result!!! A year later, I moved to another apartment in my complex and called Amy for help. Again, her changes made a huge difference and working within a budget. I got rid of some large items and Amy found more updated replacements, re-arranged my furniture and wall hangings, added another mirror and more pops of color where needed. My apartment was completely transformed and I was so happy!! Amy is professional, friendly, open to suggestions, fun to work with and stays within a set budget. She goes out of her way to find items that fit perfectly and look great. When she finished with me both times, my apartment looked fresh, cheerful, comfortable, inviting and beautiful I love everything Amy did and am so happy and my experience was fun too. Amy Troute has decorated all of the public rooms in my house including my office. She has the unique ability to see things most people wouldn't in deciding on a design concept in regards to furniture design and style. She has a great eye for color and scale. In addition she is ever mindful of the budget which is a great relief. We are planning to convert the basement into a media room and bar in the future and Amy is the only person considered for the job.
