While planning for retirement and searching for plans for building a home on property we bought in Erwin, TN we narrowed our final choice to this company. From the beginning we worked with a wonderful salesperson Beth Martin, she took time with us from day one and right up to the day my husband took a consultant job in New Mexico she has been right there with us helping us to make decisions on plans, giving us advice and directions on what we need to do to prepare for this build. We made the decision to put the start of our build out for a year longer with him not being in the area so that we both would be in TN to oversee the building of our forever home. Beth Martin and everyone at this location of Americas Home Place was very understanding and helpful with this decision. We still have plans to build with them and get plan updates by email. We can't wait to return so we can start the building of our home. The actual year we will start our home will be in 2017 when this contract should be up, your system will not let me put 2017. The pictures are of the top of the property we will build on. So excited and ready to come home and start this, counting down the days.

Americas Homeplace was very knowledgeable of the job, Home was built on time, ahead of schedule, and was built according to plans that was selected, with no flaws. Thank You "Americas Home Place"

We had America's Home Place build our home last year. The whole exprience was great. Yes we had a couple of problems, you will when you build a house, but it was the way they handled them that really impressed us. We are extremely happy with our house and if we were to ever need to build again I would go back to them with no questioned asked.

Over All they are a high quality Builder. I do advise to keep on top of them as you would any builder. If there were issues they were for the most part eager to fix them. Any time you build a home, everything is not going to be perfect the first time, we understand this and they were able to remedy most of the issues that arose during the building process. They have been good about the follow through for the warranty work so far. We are about 2 months into our new home and they have been on top of the little things that have come along like a leaky pipe, the hard wood floor has a few areas that needed additional glue, a few doors that would stick, minor things and they have addressed them and been easy to work with for all of these. I think the keep to any builder is to set your expectations out and be able to hold them to those standards that you expect. I would hire them again to build another home in the future.

Home built 2008 workmanship done average. Nothing special. Home built with basement. America Home Place uses lot of subs to do their work. Overview of work completed should have been done better. Overall satisfied with company except the exterior paint job.

My husband and I spoke with a representative from this company. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were very impressed with their flexibility in customizing a floor plan to meet our needs. We have not made a final decision but are highly likely to choose them to build our house.
