We picked American Pools several years ago for a few reasons. Jim Gootee is an excellent designer, and he was able to make a pool that fits in well with our environment. People comment all the time about the design of our pool. Jim is very professional and easy to work with. He will deal quickly with any issue that may come up. American Pools was very competitive on price, and had the best design of all of our bids.

We really appreciated their presentation on the price for the pool. They didn't keep adding things on to increase the price. They gave us just what we asked for.
Even though it has been many years since the pool was constructed, I have had contact with Jim when I had questions about the pool. He has been very helpful
I would (and have) recommend them without hesitation to build your dream pool. Very easy to work with.

American Pools has built pools in our current home and previous home. They have beautiful designs, timely responses, courteous contractors and get the job done on time, exceeding expectations! If they committed to something, they stood by their word. I couldn't wait for finished project pictures to show off the pool on Facebook! As a result, I was able to refer them to several friends and acquaintances who have used them and are also every happy.

Jim Gootee and American Pools were absolutely fantastic to work with. From the very beginning of the design process all the way through the construction process. There was continual communication, great oversight of the project with fantastic attention to detail. We couldn't have asked for more. The customer service, project management and completed product were top notch. You couldn't ask for a better company or people to work with!

We completed our swimming pool with American Pools in the spring of 2015. We could not be happier with everything. Jim was totally professional, extremely thorough and was there every step of the way. Our pool (and the remainder of the yard) turned out better than we could have ever expected.
