The Classy Cottage

I am more than pleased w/ Classy Cottage, my decision to go w/ Allison Allen (proprietor) became easier as I called many other furniture stores over time in order to get the best deal & personal service I was looking for. She answered ALL my questions. They’re not just another furniture store trying to make $. Of course it’s a family business making a living, yes! They also took me serious & honored they’re word. I had to wait 6 months for my furniture to be delivered because it was in Asia & the bed frame had to be made. But, it was ALL worth the wait. I have a beautiful bedroom set, ALL real wood. I need not purchase another bedroom set as I’m 70 years old, buying furniture isn’t in my future. The other pieces: bench & chair ALL made by Caracole ARE TRULY a piece of art. CLASSY COTTAGE earned the 5 STARS given because of they’re excellence in dealing w/ customers & sale of furnishings. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality furnishings, you may pay a bit more in some cases but, you’re also getting your $’s worth, plus, be treated highly by a woman that knows how to run her business. I like her personality, honesty, she kept in contact w/ me throughout the entire months, updating me on any current news about my furniture. I could call or email at any time & she would always respond in a timely fashion. I would do business w/ CLASSY COTTAGE AGAIN. Also, I would recommend them if asked about; where I purchased my latest furniture. I haven’t been able to take any photographs ( waiting for my son to help in that ) hopefully, I’ll get to that. I ordered some furniture in February ($3.5k worth) and it’s been one excuse after another of why it hasn’t been delivered to my house. They said that one piece of furniture was delayed because of Hooker furniture’s inventory issues fault, and the other piece of furntirue’s delay was because of the deliver company (allegedly their truck broke down for three weeks). I asked for a refund and they are refusing. UPDATE: I finally received one of the furniture pieces. Still waiting on the other one. Will update the review once I get the last piece.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Their customer service leaves much to be desired if you're attempting a return. They make you jump through hoops to get the money credited back to your account. The customer must pay for return shipping and on top of that they will not refund the shipping they charged you to originally send the item. They also charge a significant restocking fee. The person replying to the emails to complete this exchange (which took way too long and too many messages back and forth) is named Allison. She's incredibly rude and make it so hard just to complete your transaction. They really try to keep your money at all costs. Once they FINALLY agreed to partially refund my order after I had to follow up as to the status, Allison rudely wrote me back and labeled my message as "SPAM". The way they treat their customers is abhorrent. Please save yourself a headache and order from someplace else.
