These guys provided some windows and doors for us a year ago. I needed them to come out and make adjustments, but they are not returning emails and their phone line gives a busy signal. It appears they filed for bankruptcy in November, 2018.

We purchased Western doors and windows from AI and the install was a disaster. Everything leaked - AI blamed our builder (even though it was their installation crew who did the work!) it held our job up for 6 weeks while they tried patch jobs to fix it. Finally, and only after getting the Western CEO involved, they did a complete reinstall. They still have unfinished punch items, some of our hardware and broken glass to fix but haven’t returned our builders calls. DO NOT use this company. Western is a great product. Buy it elsewhere.

We worked with AI and Four Square Builders on our dream home on Lake Austin. We have had nothing but problems with our Western sliders and doors. We moved in 6 months ago and are still having trouble getting AI to fix all the problems. I even called the Western rep for Texas to see if I could get some help and he didnt even return my call! If youre looking for a modern window door company steer clear of AI and Western.

Eric, please contact me directly about this. To our knowledge, all product related issues have been addressed. The only outstanding issues on your home, that I am aware of, are:
1. Related to construction damage, post installation (scratches). Prices have been quoted to take care of those for you. We have not heard anything in terms of acceptance on moving forward with these.
2. An adjustment to a garage door (which we have asked if this was simply a mistake in labeling and actually your mudroom door, because we do not supply or work on overhead garage doors). We are awaiting a response on this to see if we need to get a tech out there or not.

"Nothing but problems with our Western" seems a far cry from our experience with this project. Let's please discuss so we can get on the same page and ensure you are pleased with the product on your home.

A.I. is the premier window/door/mill work provider in Austin. I have been working with Neil and Corey for over a year now, and they never cease to amaze me with their attention to detail. No one in town (or around) will focus on a project like they will. They truly take the time to understand the details that are most important to you.

A great company to work with. They are very accommodating and go out of their way to make things right. A.I. was able to provide us with a product that adhered to some very difficult specifications. They were willing to go through multiple revisions if that is what it took to get all the dimensions right. We plan to use them again.

To date, I am working with them to specify western windows on 4 various high end contemporary residential projects. They are quick to respond to my questions, always available to meet on site to discuss design options and and work hard to problem solve complex issues that may arise. Highly recommended.
