Flat panel wood cabinet doors and gray painted drawers share a caesarstone countertop and stainless steel backsplash with an orbital sanded finish, for easier maintenance. Open c-shaped shelves provide space for storage, while keeping the open feel of the new design.

Walk in pantry has large granite countertop, which allows an area for small appliance cooking such as slow cooker and breadmaker to work outside the main kitchen area.

The project is located in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The client’s a young family and the husband is a very passionate cook. The kitchen was a gut renovation. The all white kitchen mixes modern and traditional elements with an oversized island, storage all the way around, a buffet, open shelving, a butler’s pantry and appliances that steal the show. Butler's Pantry Details include: -This space is multifunction and is used as an office, a coffee bar and for a liquor bar when entertaining -Dark artichoke green cabinetry custom by Dresner Design private label line with De Angelis -Upper cabinets are burnished brass mesh and antique mirror with brass antiquing -Hardware from Katonah with a antiqued brass finish -A second subzero refrigerated drawer is located in the butler’s pantry along with a second Miele dishwasher, a warming drawer by Dacor, and a Microdrawer by Wolf -Lighting in the desk is on motion sensor and by Hafale -Backsplash, polished Calcutta Gold marble mosaic from Artistic Tile -Zinc top reclaimed and fabricated by Avenue Metal -Custom interior drawers are solid oak with Wenge stain -Trimless cans were used throughout -Kallista Sink is a hammered nickel -Faucet by Kallista

You’ll always be on holidays here! Designed for a couple nearing retirement and completed in 2019 by Quine Building, this modern beach house truly embraces holiday living. Capturing views of the escarpment and the ocean, this home seizes the essence of summer living. In a highly exposed street, maintaining privacy while inviting the unmistakable vistas into each space was achieved through carefully placed windows and outdoor living areas. By positioning living areas upstairs, the views are introduced into each space and remain uninterrupted and undisturbed. The separation of living spaces to bedrooms flows seamlessly with the slope of the site creating a retreat for family members. An epitome of seaside living, the attention to detail exhibited by the build is second only to the serenity of it’s location.

Our clients came to us after purchasing their new home, wanting to update a few things to make it “theirs.” They wanted to refresh the kitchen by simply changing the backsplash and installing a new chandelier. Our clients picked out super cool allen + roth Imperial City Subway tile backsplash that really changed the entire look of the kitchen. Three simple Tamill clear with black drizzle 7” glass pendants were hung above the kitchen island, where there was once a glitzy chandelier. They also opted for a gas stove, so, we removed the existing electric cooktop and installed a gas stove instead. A metallic gray Blanco Valea Silgranit low-divide undermount sink replaced the existing stainless sink, and we installed an Addison Arctic stainless kitchen faucet to finish it off. These simple changes made a huge difference in the appearance of this kitchen. Our clients are so pleased with the outcome. The custom Butler's Panty showcases high gloss navy cabinetry, which conceals both a Scotsman Ice Maker and Sub Zero Refrigerator Drawers. The custom mosaic backsplash is created from gold harlequin interlocking pieces.
