Owners wanted to create a wet bar area in the room, along with their library. Installed plumbing for: new sink, under counter refrigerator, and under counter ice maker. Installed sixteen custom: cabinets, valance, corbels, and light valance. The custom window seat was built under the existing window to finish this comfortable and attractive library.

The Bedford 12-foot Shuffleboard Table is will provide years of fun and enjoyment for the entire family. The cabinet is made of 1-2/5 inch thick solid Douglas fir with a weathered oak finish. The playfield is made of solid Aspen wood with a 1/8-inch polymer seal and measures 128L x 20"W x 3" Thick. The table has 4 big climatic adjusters for maximum play. Three sets of steel legs with a steel crossbar provide exceptional stability. Overall game size: 145" x 33" x 32". Includes eight pucks (two colors), 1 table brush, 1 can of speed wax, and 2 sets of scoring units.

Ambient lighting in this great room washes the ceiling and beams reflecting down to provide a warm glow. Task lighting over the counters provide the level of light required to cook and clean without disrupting the glow. Art lighting for the fireplace and additional task lighting for the seating areas create the final layers.

Designed with an open floor plan and layered outdoor spaces, the Onaway is a perfect cottage for narrow lakefront lots. The exterior features elements from both the Shingle and Craftsman architectural movements, creating a warm cottage feel. An open main level skillfully disguises this narrow home by using furniture arrangements and low built-ins to define each spaces’ perimeter. Every room has a view to each other as well as a view of the lake. The cottage feel of this home’s exterior is carried inside with a neutral, crisp white, and blue nautical themed palette. The kitchen features natural wood cabinetry and a long island capped by a pub height table with chairs. Above the garage, and separate from the main house, is a series of spaces for plenty of guests to spend the night. The symmetrical bunk room features custom staircases to the top bunks with drawers built in. The best views of the lakefront are found on the master bedrooms private deck, to the rear of the main house. The open floor plan continues downstairs with two large gathering spaces opening up to an outdoor covered patio complete with custom grill pit.

In this great room we wanted to match up a wood plantation shutter with the finish of the trim work. We decided to do a Hunter Douglas Heritance Wood Shutter. We did a hidden tilt shutter on the bottom window and a custom arch on top to match. This allowed us to keep the shape of the window and coordinate the top and the bottom.
