Custom Newel PostsThis showpiece blends thick, straight solid walnut treads with the gracefulness of curved lines. The lack of visible support posts keeps the stair visually uncluttered and leaves the impression it is floating. The open rise stair with open stringers show off the solid walnut treads. Mission style posts are complimented by similar lines in the flag style spindles. Stairs are art. Every angle gives a new impression.

Rod and ForgeThis was really fun and unique project. This client was building a home up in the mountains. He came to us with an idea even before the home was constructed. He knew he wanted something different but also something that would really bring out his home and make the entry way "pop." Together we were able to come up with this idea because of another railing I had done the year before. The beams are made of reclaimed wood. The pickets are copper bar and the hand rail is reclaimed heavy equipment cable. It really came together really nice.
Century Stair CompanyThese twin circular stairs and curved balcony speak pure elegance and transform the home’s foyer into an impressive architectural space that sets the tone for the rest of the house. Both staircases showcase black wrought-iron balusters, oak treads and oak stringers; all oak handrail custom components were optimized by our CNC machines to create the smooth and beautiful transitions. Templates were provided during the framing phase to make sure we had a perfect fit along the curved walls; it was definitively a collaborative effort between the client, project manager, and design/manufacturing team at Century Stair.
