The wine room in this lovely rustic contemporary home in Scottsdale, Arizona is a retreat for the owners. Custom built by Century Custom Homes with interior design by VM Concept Interiors. With custom wrought iron scrollwork on the heavy glass doors, a full-wall painted mural, and farmhouse chic touches, this wine cellar is both functional and stylish.

The concept for this basement's custom wine cellar space began with inspiration from a barn board wine cellar the customers came across in Montreal. Using this as a jumping off point for the rest of the basements design and aesthetic, we built on the rustic charm feel by pursuing a moody colour palette and a variety of natural texture throughout.

This is a two room wine cellar built in Westchester NY....some pretty cool features: stone grotto w large format niches, black walnut barrel ceiling and coffer ceiling, incredible tile floor, seamless glass radius entry, and hidden climate control. Cellar holds around 2500+ capacity with back room being the display area for his showcase bottles.

Existing space in our client's finished basement was closed in and converted into a climate controlled wine cellar & tasting room. Custom distressed cabinetry & wine racks, Cambria quartz countertops and porcelain tile floors create a rustic old world style to the intimate space.

San Juan Capistrano is a lovely community located slightly inland, tucked within Orange County near cities like Newport Beach, Lake Forest, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, and Irvine. This fantastically designed wine cellar, courtesy of the master wine cellar builders at Vintage Cellars, is a unique representation of fun and bespoke features that can be incorporated into a traditional redwood, yet modern and bright wine cellar like this. The wine room draws you in from across the house, with its warm redwood tones and interesting wrought iron and glass door. Wine Cellar doors are often overlooked, but proper knowledge of door materials, glass specifications, threshold placement and hanging procedures are key to creating that perfect airtight room. Upon entering the basement, a large refrigeration center was installed to house wines and other beverages for entertaining. The textured stone framing this storage wall accentuates the rustic design of the space through the natural materials and tones while the details of each cabinet showcase the straight vertical and horizontal lines of this contemporary design.

This custom wine cellar was designed and built by Vintage Wine Cellars in 2020. We worked 100% remotely with this client to create a beautiful and functional space in unfinished redwood. This wine cellar's wine racking has many versatile features to store different sizes and styles of wines and wine bottles, such as tiered coved trays for large format wine bottles, high reveal display rows, individual bottle storage, Original Wooden Cases, and custom cabinetry. The unique shape and design of this room required a skilled contractor like Vintage Wine Cellars to design and create a completely custom wine cellar - perfectly fit to the shape and flow of the room. This client's room was actually huge - but he just didn't have the need to fill it completely with wine (maybe one day!) The front and rear walls are both fitted with custom racking, divided by open space and a large marble countertop. This room would lend itself perfectly to enjoying a nice bottle or three with some friends as there is plenty of space to walk around and mingle, as well as counter space begging to be used to decant those fantastic bottles. This basement features A climate controlled glass enclosed wine storage system. The racking is made of teak. The basement ceiling is a tongue and groove wood ceiling stained to match the doors and trimwork throughout the house. We added brick veneer to multiple walls in the space to create the feeling of an old world cellar. The space is equipped with a wet bar. The cabinets are a rich dark stained cherry with raised panel doors and drawers with Cambria counter top. We added under cabinet lighting which really shows off the brick detail. The winding staircase is finished to match the wet bar cabinetry.
