Une belle petite console à tiroirs ancienne accueille la vasque dans la salle de bain. Il suffit de percer un trou pour faire passer la canalisation. Un tabouret en bois ancien complète l'ensemble. A beautiful old drawer console has been turned into a washstand, thanks to a hole drilled into the top and the back in order to evacuate the water. A matching rustic stool completes the picture. A deux pas du canal de l’Ourq dans le XIXè arrondissement de Paris, cet appartement était bien loin d’en être un. Surface vétuste et humide, corroborée par des problématiques structurelles importantes, le local ne présentait initialement aucun atout. Ce fut sans compter sur la faculté de projection des nouveaux acquéreurs et d’un travail important en amont du bureau d’étude Védia Ingéniérie, que cet appartement de 27m2 a pu se révéler. Avec sa forme rectangulaire et ses 3,00m de hauteur sous plafond, le potentiel de l’enveloppe architecturale offrait à l’équipe d’Ameo Concept un terrain de jeu bien prédisposé. Le challenge : créer un espace nuit indépendant et allier toutes les fonctionnalités d’un appartement d’une surface supérieure, le tout dans un esprit chaleureux reprenant les codes du « bohème chic ». Tout en travaillant les verticalités avec de nombreux rangements se déclinant jusqu’au faux plafond, une cuisine ouverte voit le jour avec son espace polyvalent dinatoire/bureau grâce à un plan de table rabattable, une pièce à vivre avec son canapé trois places, une chambre en second jour avec dressing, une salle d’eau attenante et un sanitaire séparé. Les surfaces en cannage se mêlent au travertin naturel, essences de chêne et zelliges aux nuances sables, pour un ensemble tout en douceur et caractère. Un projet clé en main pour cet appartement fonctionnel et décontracté destiné à la location.

XID's approach for the interior design of this home consisted of high end finishes and porcelain tiles imported from Spain. The design of the fireplaces, kitchen, bathrooms and exterior hardscape were aimed at bringing warm tones to the modern house while maintaining a minimalist approach.

The powder room adds a bit of 'wow factor' with the custom designed cherry red laquered vanity. An LED light strip is recessed into the under side of the vanity to highlight the natural stone floor. The backsplash feature wall is a mosaic of various white and gray stones from Artistic Tile

En el aseo comun, decidimos crear un foco arriesgado con un papel pintado de estilo marítimo, con esos toques vitales en amarillo y que nos daba un punto distinto al espacio. Coordinado con los toques negros de los mecanismos, los grifos o el mueble, este baño se convirtió en protagonista absoluto.

This petite space exudes major soothing energy thanks to our handmade tile. Set in a vertically stacked pattern and accented by the most adorably tiny sink, 2x8 Ceramic Tile in Sand Dune clads the wall and window casing of this modern bathroom with stunning color variation. A few years back we had the opportunity to take on this custom traditional transitional ranch style project in Auburn. This home has so many exciting traits we are excited for you to see; a large open kitchen with TWO island and custom in house lighting design, solid surfaces in kitchen and bathrooms, a media/bar room, detailed and painted interior millwork, exercise room, children's wing for their bedrooms and own garage, and a large outdoor living space with a kitchen. The design process was extensive with several different materials mixed together.
