This Ultimate Outdoor Living & Entertaining area is set on the beautiful Susquehanna river in York, PA and has it all. the largest feature is a Pondless Waterfall that includes a 65′ long waterfall and stream and a 35′ side stream and waterfall that intersect before making one large dramatic fall. This pondless waterfall includes LED lighting throughout the feature as well as Lighting throughout the surrounding landscape. The pondless waterfall includes driftwood and native rock to resemble PA native streams. The feature varies in width for a natural look as well. Both streams converge to a pooling area complete with large stepping stones to walk across the feature. The pooling area then finishes off into a large cascading waterfall that can be seen and heard throughout the property.
This Outdoor Living Project also includes a small flagstone landing area above the retaining wall near the water feature with natural stone steps that lead to a larger natural flagstone patio. The upper patio is complete with a pergola as well as a natural stone gas fed fire pit, landscaping around the water feature and landscape lighting for night time viewing. The fire pit is propane fed made of square natural stone sandstone barn steps measuring about 5′ wide and 18″ deep. The propane fire is recessed 6″ below the top surface so the fire pit can double as a sitting area for guests. The fire pit is set atop a natural flagstone patio with a pergola and hammock seating.
There is a lower patio with a small wading pool with bar and pizza oven to top off a backyard paradise complete for any outdoor living & outdoor entertaining situation or gathering for family and friends.
The entire backyard is also equipped with Outdoor sound complete with different size and style speakers strategically placed throughout the landscape to top off an outdoor experience like none other.

The stones in the foreground form the edges of a stream created from a fountain placed to the right off picture. The stream flows into the pool and recirculates back to the fountain. Large natural boulders function as a bridge over the stream and also as a secondary diving board.

A rushing stream of hot water flows over a large moss rock into a new spa built by Deck and Patio. From there, a spillover waterfall flows out from the spa five feet above the main swimming pool. www.deckandpatio.com

Our creative team introduced a unique concept to deal with this area: re-grade the slope, turning it into a “natural” retaining wall including a dramatic waterfall, stream, and woodland garden in its place.
For the seven-foot-high “sheet” waterfall and stream, we used Aquascape Inc.’ pondless waterfall system, which allows for a good deal of water volume to create the dramatic effect.

This waterfall creates a stream which eventually empties into the pool. Large boulders and rocks form the edges of the stream and the colors in them reflect those used in the natural stone paving.

Imagine sitting at a granite-topped swim-up bar on comfortable in-pool stools while enjoying the sounds and beauty of several stream-fed waterfalls. For this project, Deck and Patio was able to turn the biggest challenge of the property — its rising elevation — into a benefit. Gravity alone moves the water down the slope into the waterfalls. This project won us several gold meals; one from NSPI and one from NESPA. www.deckandpatio.com

Sunset is a glorious time to be by the pool, especially when the sounds of multiple waterfalls complete the scene. Here a stream feeds two separate waterfalls on either side of a water slide that makes its own waterfall. This is definitely where you want to be at the end of each workday. www.deckandpatio.com

Because of the topography, the pool was located far from the house, down a steep grade. We added beautiful creeping ground cover and natural boulders, so that even the property's challenging raised grades were turned into benefits. Also, by installing enough retaining boulders and plant materials, Mother Nature's own gravity coaxes water naturally over rock etc. into a pond. http://www.deckandpatio.com

This natural pool features a lazy river and its own island. The bridge gives access to the gazebo, grilling station and slide. The river enters the pool through a cave and waterfall.
The Electric Crew Melbourne Electricians upgraded the lighting and added home automation to create convenience and style to managing this Mornington beach house. The rental manager can now control entry to the front door by generating unique pin codes to use with the digital lock. The security camera can be accessed with live stream digitally, the lighting, electrical appliances, heating and air conditioning can be controlled remotely and the automation allows various controls and sequences to be trigger. For example, when the garage door is triggered, the entrance and front garden lights turn on for 15 minutes. The back pool and garden lighting turns on a dusk. All outdoor lighting turns off at midnight but can also be manually controlled from a smart phone.
