Sea Spray

Tucked next to a small pond, this house faces the ocean in Rhode Island. The Owners wanted a snug coastal house that would still work for their extended family’s vacations. They were looking for a casual house that echoed the New England traditional details of the beautiful community. Numerous open and closed porches, decks, and trellis wrap the house and garage. Shingle style details tie the house to it historic neighbors. The house was limited to a specific footprint to keep it out of flood zones. Inside the living spaces flow into one another for easy, open summer living for an active family. Storage is tucked everywhere.
