St Johns Wood 1 - Carrera Marble (a bitch to clean?)

I used polished pure white Thassos marble on my powder room floor, with black absolute granite small squares scattered through the joints for a classic look. What a mistake! Even though the marble was sealed, urine stains around the commode will not come out. Now I have to keep a throw rug in place to hide those stains. November 5, 2015 PRO Grout Works of Central NJ To remove urine stains from marble use 40% hydrogen peroxide available at you local beauty supply store. Let it dwell on area for a number of hours if necessary. Sometimes an overnight poultice with baby powder and hydrogen peroxide is necessary but it will almost always remove the stain. However it will leave a dull spot although with no yellow color. The dull spot can be refinished by a natural stone restoration professional by honing with diamonds and polishing it. We restore marble like carrara and many other natural stones here in NJ.
