Rustic chic renovation

This is the view into the house as soon as you open the front door. We kept this cutout to maintain the separation of the dining room from the entry, while at the same time allowing a glimpse into the beckoning spaces beyond. This openness belies the small footprint of the entryway. The mirrored console, topped by a long tray, is a great drop-off point, and also hides mitts and hats.
