STATEMENT MAHOGANY This remarkable pre-assembled, pre-hung entry door is hand-made in the USA with love by CBW Windows & Doors, located in Los Angeles, CA. The Statement Mahogany door is made of solid 4 ¾” tongue-and-groove mahogany planks (1” thick) inside of a 2 ½” aluminum frame, which prevents warping over time. The wood has been finished with a UV-protective coat of satin polyurethane. This unit comes with the jamb, butt hinges, rolling latch, Euro-profile cylinder, anodized aluminum threshold, and 24” brushed stainless steel back-to-back pull bar. The entrance showcases the weightlessness of the floating console and bench. The two features massive slabs of tree wood with a live edges that marry the interior with the exterior.

Inspired by the venerable turreted estate at the approach to Charlotte Country Club, and itself resting on Eastover’s renowned Colville Road, a monochromatic exterior gently blends classic form with modern flair. A flowing floor plan arrangement is anchored by a central turret and multiple axis lines.

This project is an amazing building which floats and steps with the gradient of the narrow site. The building has a facade that will create a dramatic sense of space while allowing light and shadows to give the building great depth and shape. This house has a large suspended slab which forms the upper level of open plan living which extends to the balcony to enhance the spectacular ocean views back over Yeppoon.
