We drew inspiration from traditional prairie motifs and updated them for this modern home in the mountains. Throughout the residence, there is a strong theme of horizontal lines integrated with a natural, woodsy palette and a gallery-like aesthetic on the inside. We gave this master bedroom an industrial modern vibe with reclaimed wood four poster bed, reclaimed wood and iron nightstands, and a leather and iron bench. We warmed things up by adding a navy tetured grasscloth wallpaper accent wall, pendant lighting from Arteriors and a shag rug from Surya.

Upon entering the master bedroom, the eye is immediately drawn towards two Kobi pendants; these modern two-tier ceiling fittings highlight the high ceilings within the room. Contrasting with the simple design of Kobi, the bold yet elegant form of our Piera table lamps flank the bedside. The stone base creates a delicate palette of cascading ivory tones, in keeping with the colour palette and organic resources.

Boasting a modern yet warm interior design, this house features the highly desired open concept layout that seamlessly blends functionality and style, but yet has a private family room away from the main living space. The family has a unique fireplace accent wall that is a real show stopper. The spacious kitchen is a chef's delight, complete with an induction cook-top, built-in convection oven and microwave and an oversized island, and gorgeous quartz countertops. With three spacious bedrooms, including a luxurious master suite, this home offers plenty of space for family and guests. This home is truly a must-see!

This full-level owner’s suite complete with custom pella windows, cathedral ceilings, recessed lighting, 36” contemporary rod ceiling fan, feature limousine black painted feature wall with 3-D wood paneling on 1/3rd of the wall to creating interesting form and flow; is also complimented by dual controlled pendant honeycomb reading lights. This was a fun one for us to design and build.

We had so much fun with this project! The client wanted a bedroom refresh as they had not done much to it since they had moved in 5 years ago. As a space you are in every single night (and day!), your bedroom should be a place where you can relax and enjoy every minute. We worked with the clients favorite color (navy!) to create a beautiful blue grasscloth textured wall behind their bed to really make their furniture pop and add some dimension to the room. New lamps in their favorite finish (gold!) were added to create additional lighting moments when the shades go down. Adding beautiful sheer window treatments allowed the clients to keep some softness in the room even when the blackout shades were down. Fresh bedding and some new accessories were added to complete the room.

This 3,569-square foot, 3-story new build was part of Dallas's Green Build Program. This minimalist rocker pad boasts beautiful energy efficiency, painted brick, wood beams and serves as the perfect backdrop to Dallas' favorite landmarks near popular attractions, like White Rock Lake and Deep Ellum; a melting pot of art, music, and nature. Walk into this home and you're greeted with industrial accents and minimal Mid-Century Modern flair. Expansive windows flood the open-floor plan living room/dining area in light. The homeowner wanted a pristine space that reflects his love of alternative rock bands. To bring this into his new digs, all the walls were painted white and we added pops of bold colors through custom-framed band posters, paired with velvet accents, vintage-inspired patterns, and jute fabrics. A modern take on hippie style with masculine appeal. A gleaming example of how eclectic-chic living can have a place in your modern abode, showcased by nature, music memorabilia and bluesy hues. The bedroom is a masterpiece of contrast. The dark hued walls contrast with the room's luxurious velvet cognac bed. Fluted mid-century furniture is found alongside metal and wood accents with greenery, which help to create an opulent, welcoming atmosphere for this home. “When people come to my home, the first thing they say is that it looks like a magazine! As nice as it looks, it is inviting and comfortable and we use it. I enjoyed the entire process working with Veronica and her team. This beautiful, new construction home in Greenwich Connecticut was staged to showcase all of its beautiful potential, so it will sell for the highest possible value. The staging was carefully curated to be sleek and modern, but at the same time warm and inviting to attract the right buyer. This staging included a lifestyle merchandizing approach with an obsessive attention to detail and the most forward design elements. Unique, large scale pieces, custom, contemporary artwork and luxurious added touches were used to transform this new construction into a dream home.

Breathe Design Studio helped this young family select their design finishes and furniture. Before the house was built, we were brought in to make selections from what the production builder offered and then make decisions about what to change after completion. Every detail from design to furnishing was accounted for from the beginning and the result is a serene modern home in the beautiful rolling hills of Bee Caves, Austin. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. We were approached by a San Francisco firefighter to design a place for him and his girlfriend to live while also creating additional units he could sell to finance the project. He grew up in the house that was built on this site in approximately 1886. It had been remodeled repeatedly since it was first built so that there was only one window remaining that showed any sign of its Victorian heritage. The house had become so dilapidated over the years that it was a legitimate candidate for demolition. Furthermore, the house straddled two legal parcels, so there was an opportunity to build several new units in its place. At our client’s suggestion, we developed the left building as a duplex of which they could occupy the larger, upper unit and the right building as a large single-family residence. In addition to design, we handled permitting, including gathering support by reaching out to the surrounding neighbors and shepherding the project through the Planning Commission Discretionary Review process. The Planning Department insisted that we develop the two buildings so they had different characters and could not be mistaken for an apartment complex. The duplex design was inspired by Albert Frey’s Palm Springs modernism but clad in fibre cement panels and the house design was to be clad in wood. Because the site was steeply upsloping, the design required tall, thick retaining walls that we incorporated into the design creating sunken patios in the rear yards. All floors feature generous 10 foot ceilings and large windows with the upper, bedroom floors featuring 11 and 12 foot ceilings. Open plans are complemented by sleek, modern finishes throughout.

This master bedroom retreat got a dose of glam! Previously a dark, dreary room, we added softness with blush tones, warm gold, and a luxe navy velvet upholstered bed. Combining multiple textures of velvet, grasscloth, linen, fur, glass, wood, and metal - this bedroom exudes comfort and style.
