Melinamade - Residential Design + InteriorsA Mid Century modern home built by a student of Eichler. This Eichler inspired home was completely renovated and restored to meet current structural, electrical, and energy efficiency codes as it was in serious disrepair when purchased as well as numerous and various design elements being inconsistent with the original architectural intent of the house from subsequent remodels.
K Two Designs, Inc.The star of the show is the peacock wallpaper in greens and blues. Dining chairs in blue accents the wallpaper, and the round mirror reflects the circular staircase beyond.

Pour cette grande pièce de vie, ils avaient envie d'espace, de décloisonnement et d'un intérieur qui arrive à mixer bien sûr leur 2 styles : le contemporain pour Guillaume et l'industriel pour Paula. Nous leur avons proposé le forfait Déco qui comprenait un conseil couleurs, des planches d'ambiances, les plans 3D et la shopping list.

12/12 Architects & PlannersThe homeowner had previously updated their mid-century home to match their Prairie-style preferences - completing the Kitchen, Living and DIning Rooms. This project included a complete redesign of the Bedroom wing, including Master Bedroom Suite, guest Bedrooms, and 3 Baths; as well as the Office/Den and Dining Room, all to meld the mid-century exterior with expansive windows and a new Prairie-influenced interior. Large windows (existing and new to match ) let in ample daylight and views to their expansive gardens.

Michael Norpell's Wall To WallSimple clean lines, and an open furniture layout help celebrate this unit’s lakefront view. The large-patterned yellow carpet helps to expand the space and plays well with the changing colors of the lake. The unit’s original vintage Lightolier light chandelier was rewired and replated. This space and furniture layout accommodates a dining table that expands to seat sixteen. Whimsical wallpaper reflects the client’s love of birds and works well with the lake views.
Haven Design and ConstructionIn the dining room, we added a walnut bar with an antique gold toekick and antique gold hardware, along with an enclosed tall walnut cabinet for storage. The tall dining room cabinet also conceals a vertical steel structural beam, while providing valuable storage space. The original dining room cabinets had been whitewashed and they also featured many tiny drawers and damaged drawer glides that were no longer practical for storage. So, we removed them and built in new cabinets that look as if they have always been there. The new walnut bar features geometric wall tile that matches the kitchen backsplash. The walnut bar and dining cabinets breathe new life into the space and echo the tones of the wood walls and cabinets in the adjoining kitchen and living room. Finally, our design team finished the space with MCM furniture, art and accessories.

In the dining room, a “Vertigo Pendant” by Constance Guisset for Petite Fixture in Beetle Iridescent Black finish illuminates the lowered ceiling with a backdrop of a two-story pocket courtyard featuring a mature Mallet Flower Tree with “Platner Armchairs” for Knoll with polished nickel and classic Boucle in Onyx finish as well as vintage carved wood dragon end chairs and a dining table by owner made with live edge Teak slab that is lacquered finished

This area used to be an exterior porch, but was enclosed to make the current dining room larger.
