We transformed this room from an outdated southwest style space to this elegant Spanish style living room. The fireplace was redesigned and an arched passage to the dining was added to better define the spaces. The balance of materials that help create this space are the old world terra cotta tiles, smooth plaster walls, hand carved stone fireplace and rough wood stained ceiling. This restoration and addition had the aim of preserving the original Spanish Revival style, which meant plenty of colorful tile work, and traditional custom elements. The living room adjoins the kitchen.

A monumental limestone fireplace sets the stage for this intimate living room. Sunlight streams in the windows from a beautiful courtyard surrounded on 3 sides by this Santa Barbara style home. This project was for a new home construction. This kitchen features absolute black granite mixed with carnival granite on the island Counter top, White Linen glazed custom cabinetry on the parameter and darker glaze stain on the island, the vent hood and around the stove. There is a natural stacked stone on as the backsplash under the hood with a travertine subway tile acting as the backsplash under the cabinetry. The floor is a chisel edge noche travertine in off set pattern. Two tones of wall paint were used in the kitchen. The family room features two sofas on each side of the fire place on a rug made Surya Rugs. The bookcase features a picture hung in the center with accessories on each side. The fan is sleek and modern along with high ceilings.

A lovely French Provencal styled home adorned with reclaimed antique limestone floors. The formal living room showcases a breathtaking 18th century antique French limestone fireplace with a trumeaux over-mantle. The dark wood exposed wood beams are original and were salvaged from France. The magnificent Villa de Martini is a Mediterranean style villa built in 1929 by the de Martini Family. Located on Telegraph Hill San Francisco, the villa enjoys sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, Pier 39, the yachting marina, the Bay Bridge, and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. This exquisite villa is on a triple wide lot with beautiful European-style gardens filled with olive trees, lemon trees, roses, Travertine stone patios, walkways, and the motor court, which is designed to be tented for parties. This gorgeous home renovation was a fun project to work on. The goal for the whole-house remodel was to infuse the home with a fresh new perspective while hinting at the traditional Mediterranean flare. We also wanted to balance the new and the old and help feature the customer’s existing character pieces. Let's begin with the custom front door, which is made with heavy distressing and a custom stain, along with glass and wrought iron hardware. The exterior sconces, dark light compliant, are rubbed bronze Hinkley with clear seedy glass and etched opal interior. Moving on to the dining room, porcelain tile made to look like wood was installed throughout the main level. The dining room floor features a herringbone pattern inlay to define the space and add a custom touch. A reclaimed wood beam with a custom stain and oil-rubbed bronze chandelier creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. In the kitchen, a hammered copper hood and matching undermount sink are the stars of the show. The tile backsplash is hand-painted and customized with a rustic texture, adding to the charm and character of this beautiful kitchen. The powder room features a copper and steel vanity and a matching hammered copper framed mirror. A porcelain tile backsplash adds texture and uniqueness. Lastly, a brick-backed hanging gas fireplace with a custom reclaimed wood mantle is the perfect finishing touch to this spectacular whole house remodel.
