Notre cliente venait de faire l’acquisition d’un appartement au charme parisien. On y retrouve de belles moulures, un parquet à l’anglaise et ce sublime poêle en céramique. Néanmoins, le bien avait besoin d’un coup de frais et une adaptation aux goûts de notre cliente ! Dans l’ensemble, nous avons travaillé sur des couleurs douces. L’exemple le plus probant : la cuisine. Elle vient se décliner en plusieurs bleus clairs. Notre cliente souhaitant limiter la propagation des odeurs, nous l’avons fermée avec une porte vitrée. Son style vient faire écho à la verrière du bureau afin de souligner le caractère de l’appartement. Le bureau est une création sur-mesure. A mi-chemin entre le bureau et la bibliothèque, il est un coin idéal pour travailler sans pour autant s’isoler. Ouvert et avec sa verrière, il profite de la lumière du séjour où la luminosité est maximisée grâce aux murs blancs.

Für ein kleines Budget haben wir für unseren Kunden eine 1 Zimmerwohnung mit Wohnküche komplett eingerichtet. Angefangen von Möbeln über Teppiche, Bilder und Accessoires bis hin zu Küchengeräten, Porzellan, Besteck und vieles mehr. Viel fröhliche Farbe - bis auf die Wände - war ausdrücklich gewünscht. Wir hatten freie Hand und sehr viel Freude bei der Umsetzung.

Ania Omski-Talwar Location: Danville, CA, USA The house was built in 1963 and is reinforced cinder block construction, unusual for California, which makes any renovation work trickier. The kitchen we replaced featured all maple cabinets and floors and pale pink countertops. With the remodel we didn’t change the layout, or any window/door openings. The cabinets may read as white, but they are actually cream with an antique glaze on a flat panel door. All countertops and backsplash are granite. The original copper hood was replaced by a custom one in zinc. Dark brick veneer fireplace is now covered in white limestone. The homeowners do a lot of entertaining, so even though the overall layout didn’t change, I knew just what needed to be done to improve function. This created a long and more functional countertop to the right. We chose Caesarstone for the durability and ease of maintenance in a Carrera marble look for the countertops. This is complimented by the gray subway style tile backsplash with crisp white grout. This home had a kitchen that wasn’t meeting the family’s needs, nor did it fit with the coastal Mediterranean theme throughout the rest of the house. The goals for this remodel were to create more storage space and add natural light. The biggest item on the wish list was a larger kitchen island that could fit a family of four. They also wished for the backyard to transform from an unsightly mess that the clients rarely used to a beautiful oasis with function and style. One design challenge was incorporating the client’s desire for a white kitchen with the warm tones of the travertine flooring. The rich walnut tone in the island cabinetry helped to tie in the tile flooring. This added contrast, warmth, and cohesiveness to the overall design and complemented the transitional coastal theme in the adjacent spaces. Rooms alight with sunshine, sheathed in soft, watery hues are indicative of coastal decorating. A few essential style elements will conjure the coastal look with its casual beach attitude and renewing seaside energy, even if the shoreline is only in your mind's eye. By adding two new windows, all-white cabinets, and light quartzite countertops, the kitchen is now open and bright. Brass accents on the hood, cabinet hardware and pendant lighting added warmth to the design. Blue accent rugs and chairs complete the vision, complementing the subtle grey ceramic backsplash and coastal blues in the living and dining rooms. Finally, the added sliding doors lead to the best part of the home: the dreamy outdoor oasis! Every day is a vacation in this Mediterranean-style backyard paradise. The outdoor living space emphasizes the natural beauty of the surrounding area while offering all of the advantages and comfort of indoor amenities. The swimming pool received a significant makeover that turned this backyard space into one that the whole family will enjoy. JRP changed out the stones and tiles, bringing a new life to it. The overall look of the backyard went from hazardous to harmonious. After finishing the pool, a custom gazebo was built for the perfect spot to relax day or night. It’s an entertainer’s dream to have a gorgeous pool and an outdoor kitchen. This kitchen includes stainless-steel appliances, a custom beverage fridge, and a wood-burning fireplace. State-of-the-art appliances were included in the new floor plan: a microwave set in the upper cabinet, wine cooler below, new dishwasher with a panel to match the cabinets, a new stainless steel refrigerator, and a new professional style range and hood. The alcove for the range received the same tile backsplash, but we used a herringbone pattern to accent the feature wall. We also created a niche in the side wall to provide handy storage for spices. La superbe cuisine, qui fut très compliquée à réaliser. Vous ne le soupçonnez pas, mais derrière cette crédence, une partie amovible cache le ballon d'eau chaude. Beaucoup d'ajustements et de sur-mesure à cause de ce mur en pente que nous ne pouvions pas toucher.
