「プロバンスの小さな町を表現」
敷地内に小さな町を表現したくて、母屋、離れ、ガレージ、3棟それぞれの建物の向き、大きさ、高さにこだわりました。そのほか、どの建物もエッジの立った、角はなるべく作らないように柔らかいイメージを持たせました。
夜の照明の敷地のライトアップも、小さな町を意識しました。

ビーチに面した敷地に建てたヴィラ。沖縄の青い海や青い空、焼けるような夕日に映えるように外壁はホワイト一色にし、高級感や柔らかさを出すために同系色でさりげなく外壁には石、花壇にはタイルを使用。普段の生活から離れたリゾート空間を演出しました。

Conceptually the Clark Street remodel began with an idea of creating a new entry. The existing home foyer was non-existent and cramped with the back of the stair abutting the front door. By defining an exterior point of entry and creating a radius interior stair, the home instantly opens up and becomes more inviting. From there, further connections to the exterior were made through large sliding doors and a redesigned exterior deck. Taking advantage of the cool coastal climate, this connection to the exterior is natural and seamless
