This guest room is right off the familyroom. Its actually staged for this photoshoot with furnishings and accessories from my studio stock inventory. The paint color was so dramatic in a warm charcoal grey called "Intellectual" by BEHR. The botanical art is all original oil on paper of three juicy color roses, the hand painted wood & leather chairs are from Ecuador with a custom iron bistro table and the rest of the furniture, accessories and lamps are from fabulous vintage shopping sprees in New Orleans, Santa Barbara and San Diego. Our client bought a 1+ bedroom apartment in Rome with a view. It was our job to convert this into a space that would suit a family coming here to stay or a honeymoon home for a couple. The decor has references to Italian ruins and locally sourced antique pieces with lime-washed walls and hints of azure blue throughout. We developed the concept with our Italian clients who had a vision of an authentic Mediterranean look that culturally reflects Rome and those visiting.

This home features six bedrooms spread across three floors. This second master bedroom located on the lower level is quite spacious. This level is primarily dedicated to guests. We opted for blackout roller shades. The client preferred preserving the darker wood floors in this section of the house.
