The Owners of this family cottage on Leonard Lake approached us to discuss a significant renovation, or a brand new cottage design. The design goals expressed as priorities by the Owners included large windows for a bright interior connected to the natural surroundings. Other specific requests included: a Kitchen with views of the lake, open-concept common living spaces, a Dining Room to seat 10 to 12 comfortably, a cozy Living Room with stone fireplace, and two Porch/ Muskoka Room spaces to offer sanctuary & privacy from common areas during large gatherings. Strong indoor/outdoor connection is provided from the cottage interior to the exterior deck and waterfront activity zone by large double sliding patio doors in the Muskoka Room, and the Dining Room.

Un oasis en la ciudad Esta vivienda unifamiliar destaca por su funcionalidad, comodidad, color y vegetación. La casa cuenta con un gran garaje polivalente para acomodar dos coches y sala de máquinas. En la primera planta nos encontramos con la zona de día, un gran espacio abierto donde la cocina y zona de comedor y estar se fusionan con la salida a la terraza, donde se sitúa la piscina. El salón y la terraza se convierten en espacios semiabiertos gracias al uso de puertas correderas de gran formato, que multiplican el espacio y dejan pasar mucha luz. La cocina, acabada en fénix antihuellas negro mate combinado con madera y encimera Dekton Sirius, con los electrodomésticos integrados consta de una isla central con zona alta de taburetes para comidas rápidas y una mesa para comer. Los detalles en mostaza de la cocina combinan con las sillas y taburetes y se extiende en la zona del baño, donde se han utilizado baldosas estilo metro y en la parte superior y el techo se ha utilizado el mismo color mostaza y mobiliario y grifería en negro. En la zona del comedor también se sigue esta gama cromática en el mueble hecho a medida de TV y los textiles del sofá. La entrada de luz natural ha sido una prioridad en toda la vivienda, por este motivo, tanto en la escalera como en las estancias del piso superior, encontramos tragaluces, algunos practicables, que nos permiten ganar luz natural y aumentar la sensación de amplitud en todos los espacios. En el piso superior, nos encontramos dos dormitorios, uno de ellos con el cuarto de baño y vestidor en suite y el segundo con cuarto de baño en suite, y el lavadero. En la habitación principal nada se ha dejado al azar. Un espejo colgante nos separa la zona del dormitorio de la del baño y vestidor dejando un espacio abierto. El uso del papel pintado combinado con el verde del cabezal perfectamente combinados con las baldosas del baño y cortinas, dan protagonismo a la cama. El mobiliario de la habitación está hecho a medida y lacado en color blanco. La iluminación es led. El vestidor, también hecho a medida, se ha realizado con melanina y se ha separado del baño con una cortina de terciopelo rosa, que combina con los colores del baño y el dormitorio. El dormitorio juvenil, se ha diseñado y producido a medida, cuidando todos los detalles en rojo, color preferido de la joven. Finalmente llegamos al lavadero, donde los muebles se han diseñado a medida y se ha utilizado un papel pintado con mucha personalidad.

Rénovation complète pour le RDC de cette maison individuelle. Les cloisons séparant la cuisine de la pièce de vue ont été abattues pour faciliter les circulations et baigner les espaces de lumière naturelle. Le tout à été réfléchi dans des tons très clairs et pastels. Le caractère est apporté dans la décoration, le nouvel insert de cheminée très contemporain et le rythme des menuiseries sur mesure.

Le projet Constantine concerne la rénovation d’une maison de 107m2 en plein cœur de Rouen. Située dans le quartier de la Préfecture, nos équipes ont œuvré pour transformer cette maison en respectant les lieux. Une totale mise à nue de la maison, avant de s’attaquer à la rénovation et l’aménagement. Le plan de transformation est assez simple, les pièces restent distribuées comme par le passé avec quelques ajustements, mais avec des optimisations. Le salon de 30m2 peut désormais accueillir famille et amis. Toujours en quête du moindre mètre carré pour ranger les livres ou exposer des objets déco en tout genre, j’ai opté pour la création d’un pan de mur de rangements sur mesure, ce qui permet d’aérer le reste de l’espace. Le joli contraste du jeu de fond des étagères murales vient créer une dynamique intéressante qui habille très bien cette zone. Pour une touche déco, nous suggérons un tapis original comme ce modèle zèbre de chez am.pm et des assises aux couleurs soutenues. Dans la liste des travaux de rénovation effectués, l’ancienne cuisine a été déposé pour faire place à de nouveaux équipements IXINA et Whirpool. Cette pièce étriquée nous a apporté bon nombre de contraintes. Afin de ne pas réduire davantage le volume de la pièce et pour apporter de la lumière, nous avons fait le choix d’élargir les fenêtres et de rehausser le plafond. Pour favoriser la luminosité naturelle, nous préférons le blanc et le bois partagés entre le plan de travail, les meubles et les murs qui donnent à la cuisine un esprit campagne chic modernisé. Le patio, était un petit espace extérieur inexploité. Celui-ci, demandait juste un peu d’ingéniosité pour en profiter ! Dans cet espace réduit sans perdre d’espace à l’intérieur et donner du caché à la façade, nous choisissons un joli bardage bois clair qui réfléchira parfaitement la luminosité naturelle. Pour rendre cet espace plus accueillant et convivial, il nous semblait important d’y installer une terrasse avec spots intégrés. Le mur de briques actuellement recouvert d’enduit va être décapé pour récupérer son aspect initial et habillé de plantes grimpantes. Les meubles de jardin en rotin sont parfaits pour allier l’esprit bohème et le côté naturel.

Interior and Exterior Renovations to existing HGTV featured Tiny Home. We modified the exterior paint color theme and painted the interior of the tiny home to give it a fresh look. The interior of the tiny home has been decorated and furnished for use as an AirBnb space. Outdoor features a new custom built deck and hot tub space.

The combination living and dining room is a stunning formal space for entertaining. With a larger than life fireplace surround, custom eglomise (back painted glass) by local artist Suzanne Pratt of Venetian Studios, combined with marble and custom made wood surround. The mink-shade sofa and blue dining chairs are are a welcome hit of colour and drama in the space.

This gem of a home was designed by homeowner/architect Eric Vollmer. It is nestled in a traditional neighborhood with a deep yard and views to the east and west. Strategic window placement captures light and frames views while providing privacy from the next door neighbors. The second floor maximizes the volumes created by the roofline in vaulted spaces and loft areas. Four skylights illuminate the ‘Nordic Modern’ finishes and bring daylight deep into the house and the stairwell with interior openings that frame connections between the spaces. The skylights are also operable with remote controls and blinds to control heat, light and air supply. Unique details abound!
