Custom-made joinery and media wall designed and fitted by us for a family in Harpenden after moving into this new home. Looking to make the most of the large living room area they wanted a place to relax as well as storage for a large book collection. A media wall was built to house a beautiful electric fireplace finished with alcove units and floating shelves with LED lighting features. All done with solid American white oak and spray finished doors on soft close blum hinges.

this living room design featured uniquely designed wall panels that adds a more refined and elegant look to the exposed beams and traditional fireplace design. the Vis-à-vis sofa positioning creates an open layout with easy access and circulation for anyone going in or out of the living room. With this room we opted to add a soft pop of color but keeping the neutral color palette thus the dark green sofa that added the needed warmth and depth to the room. Finally, we believe that there is nothing better to add to a home than one's own memories, this is why we created a gallery wall featuring family and loved ones photos as the final touch to add the homey feeling to this room.

This eclectic living room in Maplewood, Missouri has an easy blend of vintage and modern elements. A modern, geometric rug feels at home next to the traditional sofa and vintage chest of drawers. Blues ranging from watery turquoise to deep cobalt bring vibrant color into an otherwise neutral space. Materials and textures from exposed brick to wood to metal provide depth and visual interest. Plants and natural light create a sense of calm and well-being.

Conception d'un projet à Moscou dans un appartement soviétique. Avec ce projet, j'ai participé une émission télévisée sur la chaîne russe TNT. Pour mettre en valeur les meubles rétro que j’ai conservé j’ai joué avec les couleurs et la lumière ce qui a permis d’allier ancien et modernité, de rénover en préservant l’âme de l’appartement.

This project was a one room makeover challenge where the sofa and recliner were existing in the space already and we had to configure and work around the existing furniture. For the design of this space I wanted for the space to feel colorful and modern while still being able to maintain a level of comfort and welcomeness.

Dans cet appartement familial de 150 m², l’objectif était de rénover l’ensemble des pièces pour les rendre fonctionnelles et chaleureuses, en associant des matériaux naturels à une palette de couleurs harmonieuses. Dans la cuisine et le salon, nous avons misé sur du bois clair naturel marié avec des tons pastel et des meubles tendance. De nombreux rangements sur mesure ont été réalisés dans les couloirs pour optimiser tous les espaces disponibles. Le papier peint à motifs fait écho aux lignes arrondies de la porte verrière réalisée sur mesure. Dans les chambres, on retrouve des couleurs chaudes qui renforcent l’esprit vacances de l’appartement. Les salles de bain et la buanderie sont également dans des tons de vert naturel associés à du bois brut. La robinetterie noire, toute en contraste, apporte une touche de modernité. Un appartement où il fait bon vivre !

Côté salon TV, l'ambiance est tout autre. Les propriétaires désiraient une ambiance chic et chaleureuse, un cocon de repos pour des soirées télé en famille. Bleu le maître de cette pièce agrémenté de ce papier peint texturé et de quelques touches de cannage, nous transporte dans un nid douillet. Pour rehausser l'ensemble, j'ai adoré ce canapé en velours moutarde, confortable et tellement chic. LA touche finale, de beaux luminaires, un de créateur et d'autres chinés.

A fun family room with amazing pops of color. Gorgeous custom built wall unit with beautiful clear-finished oak and blue lacquer inset panels. A surface mounted ceiling light of bentwood in a traditional beamed ceiling. Simple blue roller shade for accents over original double-hung windows. An area rug with multi-colors is playful. Red upholstered poofs act as coffee tables too. Pillow and art accents are the final touch.

Владельцы квартиры — супруги в возрасте 58 и 59 лет, переводчики с английского и французского языка. «Это очень образованные люди, с разнообразными увлечениями, — рассказывает о своих заказчиках дизайнер Света Пахомова. — Любят читать, интересуются искусством, обожают ходить в театр. Хозяйка очень хорошо готовит и любит принимать гостей. Хозяин разбирается хорошо как в музыке, так и в вине. Они обладают очень хорошим вкусом и путешествуют по всему миру». A respectful renovation balances historical preservation and contemporary design. A historic log cabin, reimagined for a preservation-minded couple. Working with the architect, we thoughtfully swapped extraneous wood for panoramic windows and steel I-beams. The resulting interior feels simultaneously seamless and sophisticated, open and intimate. Layers of texture lend intrigue throughout: rustic timber walls complement the client’s contemporary art collection; plush upholstery softens such as a copious cobalt sectional soften minimalist lines of metal; cozy nooks, like one bridging the living room and master suite, invite relaxation. The master transforms the historic core of the cabin into a refuge defined by logs darkened to near black. Catering to keen chefs, we designed a gourmet kitchen as functional as it is flawless; opting out of a dining room in favor of a larger family area, the expansive kitchen island seats six. Every careful detail reflects the synergy we felt with this client and their respect for both history and design.

This family expanded their living space with a new family room extension with a large bathroom and a laundry room. The new roomy family room has reclaimed beams on the ceiling, porcelain wood look flooring and a wood burning fireplace with a stone facade going straight up the cathedral ceiling. The fireplace hearth is raised with the TV mounted over the reclaimed wood mantle. The new bathroom is larger than the existing was with light and airy porcelain tile that looks like marble without the maintenance hassle. The unique stall shower and platform tub combination is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a clear glass shower door and partition. The trough drain located near the tub platform keep the water from flowing past the curbless entry. Complimenting the light and airy feel of the new bathroom is a white vanity with a light gray quartz top and light gray paint on the walls. To complete this new addition to the home we added a laundry room complete with plenty of additional storage and stackable washer and dryer.
