This family room space screams sophistication with the clean design and transitional look. The new 65” TV is now camouflaged behind the vertically installed black shiplap. New curtains and window shades soften the new space. Wall molding accents with wallpaper inside make for a subtle focal point. We also added a new ceiling molding feature for architectural details that will make most look up while lounging on the twin sofas. The kitchen was also not left out with the new backsplash, pendant / recessed lighting, as well as other new inclusions.

This modern living space features a white sofa, a white fireplace, and white accents throughout. Pops of blue are incorporated in the chairs, accent pillows, and coffee table. Gold detailing is present throughout. The space is backdropped by a home bar/dining space.

Interesting details and cheerful colors abound in this newly decorated living room. Our client wanted warm colors but not the "same old thing" she has always had. We created a fresh palette of warm spring tones and fun textures. She loves to entertain and this room will be perfect!

The room is designed with the palette of a Conch shell in mind. Pale pink silk-look wallpaper lines the walls, while a Florentine inspired watercolor mural adorns the ceiling and backsplash of the custom built bookcases. A French caned daybed centers the room-- a place to relax and take an afternoon nap, while a silk velvet clad chaise is ideal for reading. Books of natural wonders adorn the lacquered oak table in the corner. A vintage mirror coffee table reflects the light. Shagreen end tables add a bit of texture befitting the coastal atmosphere.

The goal of this design was to upgrade the function and style of the kitchen and integrate with the family room space in a dramatic way. Columns and wainscot paneling trail from the kitchen to envelope the family area and allow this open space to function cohesively.

This 6,000sf luxurious custom new construction 5-bedroom, 4-bath home combines elements of open-concept design with traditional, formal spaces, as well. Tall windows, large openings to the back yard, and clear views from room to room are abundant throughout. The 2-story entry boasts a gently curving stair, and a full view through openings to the glass-clad family room. The back stair is continuous from the basement to the finished 3rd floor / attic recreation room. The interior is finished with the finest materials and detailing, with crown molding, coffered, tray and barrel vault ceilings, chair rail, arched openings, rounded corners, built-in niches and coves, wide halls, and 12' first floor ceilings with 10' second floor ceilings. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a wooded neighborhood, surrounded by old growth trees. The homeowners, who hail from Texas, believe that bigger is better, and this house was built to match their dreams. The brick - with stone and cast concrete accent elements - runs the full 3-stories of the home, on all sides. A paver driveway and covered patio are included, along with paver retaining wall carved into the hill, creating a secluded back yard play space for their young children. The living room at our Crouch End apartment project, creating a chic, cosy space to relax and entertain. A soft powder blue adorns the walls in a room that is flooded with natural light. Brass clad shelves bring a considered attention to detail, with contemporary fixtures contrasted with a traditional sofa shape.

A traditional Colonial revival living room updated with metallic blue grasscloth walls, blue metallic painted fireplace surround, tufted sofas, asian decor, and built-in custom glass cabinets

The large oval coffee table is made from a high-gloss, cloudy-brown vellum. The puffy, nimbus-like shapes have an ephemeral quality, as if they could evaporate at any moment. By contrast, two angular lounge chairs have been upholstered in a fabric of equally striking angles. Richly embroidered curtains mix matte and metallic yarns that play the light beautifully. These things, combined with the densely textured wallpaper, create a room full of varied surfaces, shapes and patterns.

This Rivers Spencer living room was designed with the idea of livable luxury in mind. Using soft tones of blues, taupes, and whites the space is serene and comfortable for the home owner. The Susan Harter mural envelopes the room while the hints of modern in the lucite and light fixtures balance the traditional space. The antique wood pieces add warmth to the room.
