The kitchen in this remodeled 1960s house is colour-blocked against a blue panelled wall which hides a pantry. White quartz worktop bounces dayight around the kitchen. Geometric splash back adds interest. The encaustic tiles are handmade in Spain. Handleless and effortlessly chic, this kitchen is a testament to the seamless union of aesthetics and practicality. Each detail is meticulously crafted to create a harmonious culinary space. Equipped with top-of-the-line Siemens ovens, this kitchen boasts cutting-edge technology to elevate our client’s cooking experience to a new level. We also understand that storage is key to a functional kitchen, and we’ve found the perfect balance in this masterpiece. We used a combination of open and closed storage to ensure the essentials are always within reach, while maintaining a clutter-free and organised workspace. But it doesn’t stop there. We maximised the use of large glass doors that open to the garden, inviting natural light to dance across the space and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Adding a touch of artistic flair, we’ve incorporated colourful glass transoms into the design, infusing the space with a playful yet sophisticated charm. These accents create a vibrant interplay of light and colour and add immediate interest to the space. Our latest kitchen project is a symphony of style, functionality, and creativity. Poised on the edge of a deep ravine overlooking the beautiful Barton Creek, the core of this 1960’s renovated home centers on the kitchen. This particular space was artfully collaborated on with the home's owner, who is the owner and chef of one of Austin's premiere restaurants. The original 155 square foot kitchen was not inspiring at all to the culinary professional who was unhappy with the size, layout, lighting, space, lack of appliances, and overall outdated style. One of the key goals was to create a space not only for everyday cooking, but for entertaining as well. The overall design of the kitchen incorporates large amounts of counter space, commercial-style appliances, transparent refrigerator and pantry, as well as natural lighting to pair with necessary task lighting. The openness of the design allows for the dining area to seamlessly flow into the space for everyday family gatherings or entertaining on special occasions. Photography by Adam Steiner

The Kitchen and storage area in this ADU is complete and complimented by using flat black storage space stainless steel fixtures. And with light colored counter tops, it provides a positive, uplifting feel.

We had the opportunity of creating a truly unique kitchen. We have not created something like this before, nor have we seen such a kitchen. The main material is valchromat which has been routed to create a distinct pattern in the doors.
