This modern and fresh kitchen was created with our client's growing family in mind. By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, we were able to create a large gathering island to be used for entertaining and daily family use. Its custom green cabinetry provides a casual yet sophisticated vibe to the room, while the large wall of gray cabinetry provides ample space for refrigeration, wine storage and pantry use. We love the play of closed space against open shelving display! Lastly, the kitchen sink is set into a large bay window that overlooks the family yard and outdoor pool.

This area is the backdrop of the kitchen, so it needed to be balanced. There are glass sliding doors to the left of the range, and we knew this would make things look a little off. Adding these glass cabinets gave us that symmetry we were looking for while still serving a purpose, displaying this homeowner's favorite dishes!

This 5,000 SF design/build townhouse was completely renovated for a new family of young professionals. The house design incorporates a new elevator, making it easier for the owners to entertain guests and friends over the 6 different levels of this urban dwelling. The kitchen and dining room are located on the garden level, adjacent to the lush backyard of the property. The garden level is connected to the 1st floor living room visually via a double height space with a balcony. A new rooftop patio was created with a kitchenette and chefs BBQ overlooking the NYC Uptown landscape. Finally one of the greatest challenges of this house was to create a full height cellar which was achieved by blasting the bedrock under the house.

This project involved RMD transforming an ageing barn and dated kitchen into an incredible home for our wonderful clients. After extensive work the space was transformed into a stylish and inviting area incorporating underfloor heating, Lutron lighting, top of the range appliances and a designated coffee and breakfast station. Bespoke cabinetry included cupboards specially designed to house the clients large range of health foods such as nuts and seeds, stored in uniform jars. Keen to compliment the countryside view from within the property, plants were added in response to the clients desire for a natural feel, also filling the clients brief in improving air cleanliness and well being. Large windows and doors accompanied by wave-headed voiles allowed light and nature to be brought into the space, creating the means to let the outdoors in. The neutral colour pallet had an emphasis on texture by using different materials to match the relaxed Ibiza feel presented in the brief and the large porcelain tile floor used throughout the kitchen area incorporated underfloor heating to make it both stylish and practical. The Cheshire Barn Conversion won an award in the UK Property Awards 2021 for the best kitchen design in the North West.

This inviting 850 sqft ADU in Sacramento checks all the boxes for beauty and function! Warm wood finishes on the flooring, hickory open shelves, and ceiling timbers float on a neutral paint palette of soft whites and tans. Black elements on the cabinetry, interior doors, furniture elements, and decorative lighting act as the “little black dress” of the room. The hand applied plaster-style finish on the fireplace in a charcoal tone provide texture and interest to this focal point of the great room space. With large sliding doors overlooking the backyard and pool this ADU is the perfect oasis with all the conveniences of home!

Custom french-cafe-inspired hood with an accent of calacattta marble 3x6 subway tile. A center piece of the white Nostalgie Series 36 Inch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range with Natural Gas and 5 Sealed Brass Burners to pull all the gold accents together. Small custom-built island wrapped with bead board and topped with a honed Calacatta Vagli marble with ogee edges. Black ocean honed granite throughout kitchen to bring it durability, function, and contrast!
