Located in the quiet neighbourhood of Blainville, this spacious kitchen needed to serve as a transitional space between dining and living as well as a cooking space for a young family. Matte white cabinetry brightened the narrow kitchen and created an airy and simplistic space. A light grey counter-top adds contrast and functions as a point of stability through its 20 feet. Die Kunst bei der Gestaltung dieser Küche war die Trapezform bei der Gestaltung der neuen Küche mit großem Sitzplatz Sinnvoll zu nutzen. Alle Unterschränke wurden in weißem Mattlack ausgeführt und die lange Zeile beginnt links mit einer Tiefe von 70cm und endet rechts mit 40cm. Die Kochinsel hat ebenfalls eine Trapezform. Oberschränke und Hochschränke wurden in Altholz ausgeführt.

The island cooking zone with ovens, induction hob and ceiling mounted extractor is designed to keep the business end of preparing a meal away from the more communal breakfast bar.

The desired aesthetic was for a contemporary, industrial look which echoed the rest of the house design. This was cleverly achieved by combining cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone with a stainless steel wrapped appliance housing, which incorporates ovens and integrated fridge. Arenastone Grigio Concreto was chosen for the worktops providing the look of concrete but in a more durable material, building on the industrial theme. This kitchen renovation was part of a larger, extensive interior renovation for an existing penthouse condominium residence, located in Clayton, Missouri. The primary concept for the overall renovation was to bring architectural continuity throughout the entire residence with an edited materials palette that serves as a neutral backdrop for the owners’ extensive art collection. For the kitchen area specifically, dark flooring comprised of large-format Italian porcelain tiles is contrasted with high-gloss white cabinetry at the kitchen’s perimeter and gray-stained reconstituted veneer wrapping the island cabinetry. This neutral palette of white and gray is further enhanced with quartz countertops that include dramatic, gray veining. The custom banquette seating with built-in storage, activates the north wall of the kitchen and serves as an anchor for a new dining table and chairs. A contrasting blue velvet textile softens the built-in banquette, and provides a restrained field of color. The gray wood veneer is echoed at custom wall panels behind the banquette, serving as a textural backdrop for artwork installation. We are absolutely thrilled to share the finished photos of this year's Homearama we were lucky to be apart of thanks to G.A. White Homes. This week we will be sharing the kitchen, pantry, and living area. All of these spaces use Marsh Furniture's Apex door style to create a uniquely clean and modern living space. The Apex door style is very minimal making it the perfect cabinet to showcase statement pieces like a stunning counter top or floating shelves. This all white kitchen in Meopham features an almost perfectly symmetrical design with a large waterfall kitchen island. Empira White Caesarstone was chosen for the work surfaces and matching full height stunning splashback. A Bora induction hob and stylish appliances from Siemens complete the sophisticated look and create a sociable living space that will not only be functional, but a pleasure to cook and entertain in.
