The U-shape kitchen in Fenix, Midnight Blue, and Synthia, Limes Oak enabled the client to retain a dining table and entertaining space. A purposefully placed parapet discreetly conceals the kitchen's working area and hob when approaching from the hallway. The Vero cabinet's soft lighting and the play on heights are a modern interpretation of a traditional dresser, creating an ambience and space for a choice of personalised ornaments. Additionally, the midi cabinet provided additional storage. The result was a playfully bright kitchen in the daylight and an atmospherically enticing kitchen at night.

What struck us strange about this property was that it was a beautiful period piece but with the darkest and smallest kitchen considering it's size and potential. We had a quite a few constrictions on the extension but in the end we managed to provide a large bright kitchen/dinning area with direct access to a beautiful garden and keeping the 'new ' in harmony with the existing building. Working alongside the client we have created plenty of storage throughout the kitchen. An oversized pantry provides easy and quick access to large appliances and ingredients when the kitchen is in use. The large sliding doors ensure the pantry can be closed off and any mess hidden away when entertaining.

Our Downs Park Road project revolved around the addition of a single storey dining room extension to the rear of a two bedroom Victorian terrace maisonette. The ground floor was completely refurbished in order to galvanise the extension to the rest of the floor plan at this level. The new dining area helped to unlock the potential of the rest of the living spaces and allowed the property’s kitchen to breathe for the first time. The design of the extension centred around the garden design’s existing diagonal axis, with a cantilevered roof creating on open corner sliding door arrangement that would reinforce the connection between the internal and external.

One of Wendy's main wishes on the brief was a large pantry.

Inspired by the original Ladbroke kitchen, the Long Acre kitchen is a beautiful chic take on the contemporary design. The incredible mid-azure green cabinetry combines beautifully with walnut timber to create a chic, sophisticated room Balancing the bold green with a simple light wash of pink on the walls ensures the rich, intense green can take centre stage in the room. The open walnut shelving within the island is the perfect place to show off larger pottery or glassware, as well as your favourite cookery books. Complete with a seating area, this island is the perfect area for entertaining friends and family. With a wonderful backdrop of brass, the light is reflected around the space, enhancing every detail, even down to the matching brass handles and antique brass taps. This open yet comforting canvas will never go out of fashion, with rich colours and warming walnut timber. The walnut super stave worktop adds a warmth and depth to the kitchen and contributes a beautiful earthy quality to the design. Love this thoroughly modern kitchen, with its clean, functional lines! The countertops are Arctic White Quartz with 2 ½” laminated edges and mitered waterfall end panels. The backsplash is iridescent mosaic glass tile in “Platinum”.
