CHALLENGE Absentee owner living abroad, with contemporary taste, requested a complete build-out of high-floor, 3,600 square foot condo starting with bare walls and floors—and with all communication handled online.SOLUTION Highly disciplined inteior design creates a contemporary, European influenced environment. Large great room boasts a decorative concrete floor, dropped ceiling, and contemporary lighting. Top-of-the-line kitchen exemplifies design and function for the sophisticated cook. Sheer drapery panels at all windows softened the sleek, minimalist look. Bathrooms feature custom vanities, tiled walls, and color-themed Carrera marble. Built-ins and custom millwork reflect the European influence in style and functionality. A fireplace creates a one-of-a-kind experience, particularly in a high-rise environment.

The striking beauty and exclusivity of Deda Ebony Emara gloss cabinets to the left with vertical grain, mixed with the imposing simplicity of the Alta matt magma lacquered finish on base and island units. The Deda Ebony Emara gloss base units feature grain running through from bottom to top drawer fronts. Innovation in design has allowed the creation of dual level island units. Not only an inspirational aesthetic focal point but a congregational locus where kitchen and living areas combine. Due to the bespoke nature of the product range an extra wide and deep drawer front on the lower island is possible. The devil is in the detail though with a chamfered top edge drawer front with side bevel on the drawer and matching end panel. Design meets practicality. The Art of Kitchens trademark combination of quality joinery, marble surfaces, brushed aluminium kickboards and stainless appliances has delivered a living space that more than holds its own in this gorgeously Northern Beaches kitchen renovation. Nestled between a wall of glass that leads onto a fantastic atrium and an imposing feature fireplace, this galley-style kitchen combines inspired attention to detail and traditional, modern and contemporary design elements to create minimalist space that delivers on style and functionality. The workspace and sink area is topped in Snow Caesarstone and features mirrored splashbacks that reflect the opposite view from the atrium, adding depth and interest to the kitchen area.
