The design criteria for this home was to create an open floor plan while still defining the various uses within the space. Through the play of finishes and architectural decisions, the kitchen, living room, and dining room flow well from space to space.

This Bespoke Cabinetry by the English Kitchen Company creates a classic/contemporary kitchen in this 17th century thatched cottage. The worktops are in blue eyes granite the floor tiles are Chateau Quest limestone. The track lighting and pendants allow both ambient and task lighting in the desired areas. We designed the kitchen with two enormous islands that are over 16' long each. The appliances are Viking, Wolf and SubZero with panel fronts. There are custom stainless steel undermount sinks, KWC faucets, and a large walk in pantry.

Located near the base of Scottsdale landmark Pinnacle Peak, the Desert Prairie is surrounded by distant peaks as well as boulder conservation easements. This 30,710 square foot site was unique in terrain and shape and was in close proximity to adjacent properties. These unique challenges initiated a truly unique piece of architecture. Planning of this residence was very complex as it weaved among the boulders. The owners were agnostic regarding style, yet wanted a warm palate with clean lines. The arrival point of the design journey was a desert interpretation of a prairie-styled home. The materials meet the surrounding desert with great harmony. Copper, undulating limestone, and Madre Perla quartzite all blend into a low-slung and highly protected home. Located in Estancia Golf Club, the 5,325 square foot (conditioned) residence has been featured in Luxe Interiors + Design’s September/October 2018 issue. This kitchen is part of an entire first floor renovation performed on a condominium unit in Arlington Heights. The cramped and closed off galley kitchen was opened up by removing an entire wall situated where the new bar seating stands, allowing the newly expansive kitchen to open up directly to the great room living area directly adjacent. The renovation included all new flooring, a home office renovation, and a powder room renovation. The homeowner loved a simple contemporary style choosing clean lines, glass materials. and natural stone floors which in turn created a welcoming new space to entertain friends and family.

Designed by Bob Blanco for Shore & Country Kitchens. Clean contemporary design, utilizing flat panel doors in Birds Eye Maple and Stainless Steel. The built up Black Quartz counter tops use a waterfall effect to create an eating bar. This was also used in the desk area.

There is nothing quite like sunset in the desert. This room is the perfect place for dinner entertainment. We chose a simple, rustic dining table and high back chairs. The french limestone floors carry from inside to outdoors creating and expansive and continuous feel to the space.
