The high-rise condo owner wanted a moody modern feel throughout. This kitchen did not benefit from natural light but with natural materials and the open flow, we were able to create a clean but moody feel with the contrast of black cabinets and a light quartzite for counters and backsplash. After opening the walls between the living, dining, and kitchen we decided to raise and level the ceilings for a continuous lofty feel. The Kitchen redesign also included a hidden stackable custom laundry cabinet, which allowed for the addition of the Ensuite Guest Bath.

Introducing Sustainable Luxury in Westchester County, a home that masterfully combines contemporary aesthetics with the principles of eco-conscious design. Nestled amongst the changing colors of fall, the house is constructed with Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) and reclaimed wood, manifesting our commitment to sustainability and carbon sequestration. Glass, a predominant element, crafts an immersive, seamless connection with the outdoors. Featuring coastal and harbor views, the design pays homage to romantic riverscapes while maintaining a rustic, tonalist color scheme that harmonizes with the surrounding woods. The refined variation in wood grains adds a layered depth to this elegant home, making it a beacon of sustainable luxury.

Tutta la composizione si gioca sulla perfetta armonia tra il bianco ed il nero dei volumi della cucina adagiati sul grigio perla del pavimento nel maxi formato 60*120 cm. L'illuminazione si gioca su tre elementi: faretti ad incasso (sull'isola e di fronte alle colonne), led ad incasso (sottopensili ed a delimitare la parete finestrata), sospensioni sulla zona pranzo).

This Queenstown home features Trends Kitchens joinery throughout, including all storage, robes, a bar and a coffee station. The kitchen boasts a spectacular stone benchtop, with battened American Oak to the underside of the curved island. The negative details feature a brass laminate detail to tie in the marble in the stone, alongside the stunning Archant Berkley handles.

The homeowners’ desire for a contemporary, but welcoming, kitchen guided material and finish choices. Not wanting to part with their beautiful existing South American Amodium floor, the designer located more material to weave almost seamlessly in with the old. Harmonizing with the richness of the floor, light “Driftwood” stained alder perimeter cabinets and painted “Sea Haze” maple cabinets at the island bring a balance of warm and cool tones. Base and tall cabinet pull outs put cooking utensils and pantry items within reach. An asymmetrical wall cabinet layout gives the kitchen a contemporary feel that meets the homeowners’ aesthetics. Additionally, the backsplash acts as a strong focal point with bold veining, which is book-matched not directly across the backsplash, but moving from behind the cooktop across to the island at the work station sink bringing the space together.

This kitchen combines sleek design and optimum functionality to create a stylish, practical space. The focal point is the black cabinetry, with a delicate gold detailed trim. This striking combination exudes sophistication, with wooden accents complementing the dark cabinets and bringing warmth into the kitchen. One of the standout features of this design is the pristine white quartz worktop. Its clean and minimalist appearance enhances the aesthetic and provides a durable and easy-to-maintain surface for cooking. We have incorporated open shelving into the design, which enables our clients to showcase their favourite kitchenware and add a personal touch to the space. Smart storage solutions are absolutely key. With carefully designed cabinets and drawers, our clients will find ample space to organise their kitchen essentials efficiently, keeping everything within easy reach. We have integrated a Neff double oven, with its sleek, modern design complementing the aesthetic of the kitchen. The gold detailing is carried throughout the kitchen. From the elegant tap to the stylish plugs and accessories, these golden accents elevate the design and create a cohesive look. To complete the culinary experience, we have included a Bora hob, known for its innovative design and exceptional functionality. Expanding and updating the kitchen was our top priority – the new layout was designed to straddle the original house and the addition, creating work zones rather than the traditional work triangle. The modified galley layout more than doubled their countertop area and storage space. Extending the kitchen into the addition took full advantage of the vaulted ceilings and light-filled space. To improve flow and connectivity, we opened up a wall between the old kitchen and the front entry hall providing a straight path from front door to the new mudroom/drop zone and kitchen beyond. A door from the dining room into the kitchen was shifted to allow for a more generous kitchen. The beautifully veined Calacatta Eiffel quartz counters and backsplash provide visual contrast with the black cabinetry and keep the space from feeling too heavy. A continuous ledge and floating shelves replace traditional uppers for a more open and modern feel. Stained wood is used throughout, from the bench top, to shelving, trim and custom millwork; it brings in a natural element and helps unite all of the spaces. A hood with a custom Venetian plaster finish is flanked by vintage inspired sconces and provides a stunning focal point in the room. A deep nook is home to a ‘bubble box’ that dispenses cold sparkling or still water on demand – the marble tile backsplash further differentiates this beverage zone. The brushed brass hardware stands out against the dark cabinets and adds a touch of warmth. With seating for three at the counter and the inclusion of a breakfast area banquette (with drawers), the home is ideal for family time and relaxed gatherings with friends.
