Верхний ряд шкафов визуально облегчен за счет стеклянных вставок. Столешница изготовлена из ламината в контрастном оттенке Саленто серо-бежевый. Чтобы избежать лишних акцентов, мойку и смеситель подобрали в тон рабочей поверхности. Вся бытовая техника, за исключением духового шкафа, встроена в шкафы с глухими фасадами. Для удобства пользования рабочей поверхностью в нижние панели навесные шкафов встроены LED-светильники. Данная модель спроектирована для помещения, объединившего в себе несколько функциональных зон: столовую, гостиную и кухню. Дизайнер проекта – Ольга Тищенко.

we wanted to preserve the mid-century modern feel (talk about a real flashback!), and boy, do we love the results! This kitchen is another perfect example of a project where we did the “lipstick and make-up” – another term for replacing the more cosmetic features such as countertops, backsplash, and the door and drawer fronts. Even doing so, the resulting kitchen leaves us with a breath of fresh air! To learn more about this space, continue reading below: Cabinetry To start, we removed the soffit in the kitchen making the space look taller. Next, we did not rip out the cabinetry boxes, because we were inspired by the finish and look of what existed. Maintaining the finish of the cabinets helped preserve the retro feel and is a good example of repurposing what you already have! As a result, we replaced the door and drawer fronts with a new slab style in a matching medium stain. In addition to the cabinetry fronts, we installed floating shelves – a perfect spot to display! Countertops For countertops we wanted something light and bright, and also something that would look good with the other finishes. As a result, we kept it simple with a light and bright surface from Caesarstone in the color “Blizzard” Backsplash Now for a little fun and a pop of color, the tile. The tile we selected is fresh, exciting, and also ties everything together giving that mid-century modern feel. In a brick-lay installation, we have a Glazzio Crystile Series, in a 4×12 size, with a finish of Soft Mint. Fixtures and Fittings Completing the space, we finished the cabinetry with U-Turn knob’s on the doors, and U-turn pulls on the drawers. Then from Blanco, we have a Quatrus stainless steel sink and a Culina mini faucet in satin nickel.

This project is best described in one word: Fun – Oh wait, and bold! This homes mid-century modern construction style was inspiration that married nicely to our clients request to also have a home with a glamorous and lux vibe. We have a long history of working together and the couple was very open to concepts but she had one request: she loved blue, in any and all forms, and wanted it to be used liberally throughout the house. This new-to-them home was an original 1966 ranch in the Calvert area of Lincoln, Nebraska and was begging for a new and more open floor plan to accommodate large family gatherings. The house had been so loved at one time but was tired and showing her age and an allover change in lighting, flooring, moldings as well as development of a new and more open floor plan, lighting and furniture and space planning were on our agenda. This album is a progression room to room of the house and the changes we made. We hope you enjoy it! This was such a fun and rewarding project and In the end, our Musician husband and glamorous wife had their forever dream home nestled in the heart of the city.

This property is located in the beautiful California redwoods and yet just a few miles from the beach. We wanted to create a beachy feel for this kitchen, but also a natural woodsy vibe. Mixing materials did the trick. Walnut lower cabinets were balanced with pale blue/gray uppers. The glass and stone backsplash creates movement and fun. The counters are the show stopper in a quartzite with a "wave" design throughout in all of the colors with a bit of sparkle. We love the faux slate floor in varying sized tiles, which is very "sand and beach" friendly. We went with black stainless appliances and matte black cabinet hardware. The entry to the house is in this kitchen and opens to a closet. We replaced the old bifold doors with beautiful solid wood bypass barn doors. Inside one half became a cute coat closet and the other side storage. The old design had the cabinets not reaching the ceiling and the space chopped in half by a peninsula. We opened the room up and took the cabinets to the ceiling. Integrating floating shelves in two parts of the room and glass upper keeps the space from feeling closed in. The round table breaks up the rectangular shape of the room allowing more flow. The whicker chairs and drift wood table top add to the beachy vibe. The accessories bring it all together with shades of blues and cream. This kitchen now feels bigger, has excellent storage and function, and matches the style of the home and its owners. In this kitchen, my client who has a career in sustainability and is an avid outdoorswoman, gave me this challenge: Can we renovate my kitchen using recycled materials? Challenge Accepted! The tile made from recycled tile, the cabinets are made from recycled plastic bottles and cabinet pulls are handcrafted in the USA from recycled steel! While the original layout of the kitchen was a galley kitchen, we made some small tweaks to the layout to maximize storage and counters-space.
