A new and improved kitchen layout that is perfect for this young family of four. With ample storage in the kitchen island and upper cabinets, we were able to keep the design low-maintenance and easy to keep clean, as clutter would have taken away from the light and airy aesthetic. A light gray kitchen island and subway tile backsplash paired with the bright white countertops and cabinets gave the space a refreshing contemporary look. Darker gray contrasts with the lighter color palette through the stainless steel appliances and unique pendant lights. To the corner of the kitchen, you'll find a discreet built-in study. Fully equipped for those who work from home or for the children to finish school projects. This small office-kitchen space duo is perfect for bringing the whole family together, for meals and throughout the day. This stunning modern extension in Harrogate incorporates an existing Victorian brick wall, giving a warehouse feel to this open plan kitchen with a dining and living area. The exposed brick wall adds texture and sits harmoniously with the simple rectangular glass table lantern. Dark cabinets painted in Basalt by Little Green, makes the units feel industrial, the vintage scrub top table painted in the same colour as the units add character. The kitchens simple brass handles are practical yet elegant, enhancing the warehouse-style and almost adds a pinch of glamour. The bank of wall cupboards house a larder, tall fridge and ends with a countertop pantry cupboard with folding doors plus more cupboard space above. The lower runs have a mix of drawers and cupboard which also house an integrated dishwasher and bin. White Silestone worktops lift the look and the traditional natural oak parquet flooring give texture and warmth to the room, which leads through to a family sitting room. Large oak glass doors look towards beautifully manicured gardens and bring the outdoors indoors. Christopher designed the kitchen with our client Francesca to achieve a great space for family life and entertaining.

This beautiful black and white kitchen has great walnut and bronze touches that make the space feel warm and inviting. The black base cabinets ground the space while the white wall cabinets and herringbone subway tile keep the space light and bright.

With an industrial feel with brick, exposed beams, pipe and plank details throughout, this space is something a little different. perfect for this family with an open mind and a craving for anything but ordinary.
