Aménagement sur mesure d’une pièce complète dans une maison bretonne très cosy. Claire et Pierre nous ont contacté pour la création de rangements fonctionnels pour cette pièce pleine de charme, située au rez-de-chaussée, avec parquet bois et cheminée. Cette pièce a pour principale fonction la zone bureau et la bibliothèque. Il fallait pouvoir y stocker une partie du dressing, les grosses pièces (comme les manteaux et vestes), ainsi que les chaussures. Ajoutons des rangements pour l’imprimante et les dossiers, une zone de stockage et recharge pour l’aspirateur, et une litière cachette pour Nachos le chat ! Nous avons relevé le défi ! Les meubles sont implantés sur deux pans opposés de la pièce. Ainsi, les deux zones contrastées se répondent par leurs matériaux et définissent des zones et des fonctions dédiées. D’un côté, nous trouvons de grandes armoires et de larges tiroirs permettant le stockage de la partie dressing et chaussures entre autres… En face, nous retrouvons la zone bibliothèque avec des modules ouverts de différentes dimensions et profondeurs. Cette allure désorganisée donne de la légèreté à l’ensemble. Une envolée architecturale qui habite la pièce avec élégance. L’aménagement se compose de caissons ouverts et fermés, sur différentes profondeurs. Les matériaux utilisés sont du contreplaqué de résineux (Bâtipin) et du MDF noir teinté dans la masse (Valchromat). Le contraste de ces matériaux donne une allure contemporaine et intemporelle à l’ensemble de la pièce. Les poignées sont usinées dans les portes, la prise en main est efficace et pratique. Le savoir-faire d’inoow design permet de réaliser du mobilier sur mesure pour les particuliers comme pour les professionnels. Bookcase with storage cupboards. Beaded doors, fluted columns, and traditional capping match the classical look of the house. Adjustable shelves throughout. Size: 1.7m wide x 2.6m high x 0.3m deep Materials: American oak, solid and veneer with clear satin lacquer finish.

Library and home office. The library featured a beautiful study desk, bookshelf and oak work desk. Crafted from oak and finished in a rich Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue, the study desk featured solid oak drawers and work top and also custom designed tier shelving. Alongside this, we also designed and crafted a drinks cabinet with an antique mirror back and a polished Carrara stone top. The lower cabinets were covered with a leather like material. We finished the cabinets with round brass handles from Armac Martin and also inserted brass inlay into the cabinetry, which continued the theme from the wine wall in the kitchen. Photo: Billy Bolton

My client, who works from home full time in Pennsylvania, asked us to give her an office space that functions well for a hard working accountant, AND would also be a retreat for her during off work hours. Our solution: Split the room down the middle; half office and half lounge area. We tied the spaces together through color (her obsession with teal and pink). We refaced the fireplace and added a built in bookcase to house her love of books. A very capable desk keeps her organized. We gave her a creative way to display her kids artwork and medals from her triathlon competitions using chicken wire frames. New wall sconces, comfortable furniture, and lots of fun accents bring juicy color in, even on the dreariest of days. What a bright lovely office with lots of storage! Torva Terra Photography
