Our Pasadena studio transformed this 1908 carriage house for our clients, a husband-and-wife team who own a leading Family Law practice in Pasadena. We created an inspiring workspace that doubles as a craft area, promising to boost energy and promote relaxation. We started with Thibaut's eye-catching Dynasty collection wallcovering, which served as an inspiration for the space and satisfied the client's love of mood-boosting color. Charming floral-inspired hardware from Modern Matter (with original roots as a jewelry atelier) serves as a nod to the client's love of fine detail and complements the room's botanical wallcovering. We also carved out a dedicated jewelry-making area, which serves as a relaxing break from day-to-day pressures. Built-in desks, cabinets, and tall storage from California Closets make organizing a breeze. At the same time, plants, improved LED lighting, a music system, and vibrant colors enhance the space's mood-boosting benefits promoting creativity, focus, and energy – a perfect antidote to a hectic digital lifestyle.​​​​​​​​ --- Project designed by Pasadena interior design studio Soul Interiors Design. This home office got a fresh new look! We were going for a crisp look, in the color scheme of white and blue. A beautiful custom wall mural was painted for a unique statement. A new chandelier adds character. A lovely place to work!

This calming office space was created using wall panelling to all walls, painted in a soft blue tone. The room is brought to life through styling & accessories with contrasting textures like this marble table lamp and striking coral artwork. Making the most of the space by using a corner desk in an equally relaxing deep blue & feature, rustic shelving above which together provides ample work space. The Musgrove features clean lines and beautiful symmetry. The inviting drive welcomes homeowners and guests to a front entrance flanked by columns and stonework. The main level foyer leads to a spacious sitting area, whose hearth is shared by the open dining room and kitchen. Multiple doorways give access to a sunroom and outdoor living spaces. Greg Hadley Photography The graphic artist client initially considered a basement studio. Our designer thought the attic would provide an ideal space. To bring in natural light, we added four skylights in the attic—two operable for venting and two fixed. We used spray foam insulation to create a comfortable environment. The combination light and fan in the center is both beautiful and functional. The HVAC equipment is located behind a door, and there additional storage behind the knee walls. We built a seat under the dormer window where the client’s dog likes to perch.
