home office design in oak veneer
This former dining room has been converted into a home office for the whole family. The danger of creating a kitchen-diner elsewhere in the property is that the former dining room becomes a redundant space; worse, if the associated extension blocks out the light to what was once an external window.
With this glass roofed extension, we maintained the levels of light into the space and transformed it into a home office. We designed the main desk to handle two workstations with a third looking out through the window. We fitted ethernet ports, plenty of sockets and a wireless access point in the vicinity. The office is complete with shelving and cupboard storage, finished in oak veneer with lime accents.
