The new construction luxury home was designed by our Carmel design-build studio with the concept of 'hygge' in mind – crafting a soothing environment that exudes warmth, contentment, and coziness without being overly ornate or cluttered. Inspired by Scandinavian style, the design incorporates clean lines and minimal decoration, set against soaring ceilings and walls of windows. These features are all enhanced by warm finishes, tactile textures, statement light fixtures, and carefully selected art pieces. In the living room, a bold statement wall was incorporated, making use of the 4-sided, 2-story fireplace chase, which was enveloped in large format marble tile. Each bedroom was crafted to reflect a unique character, featuring elegant wallpapers, decor, and luxurious furnishings. The primary bathroom was characterized by dark enveloping walls and floors, accentuated by teak, and included a walk-through dual shower, overhead rain showers, and a natural stone soaking tub. An open-concept kitchen was fitted, boasting state-of-the-art features and statement-making lighting. Marsh Kitchen & Bath designer Cherece Hatcher created a bold kitchen and bath combo for a builder who wanted something modern and different. Her designs offer a striking presentation that carry the home's modern architecture into the smallest details, including in this home bar.

This home office + home bar + powder bath space was an add-on renovation including hard wood floors, a custom wood slatted pivot door, pitched ceilings with a skylight, custom cabinetry and open shelving, a bar sink and mini fridge, wallpaper, wall + ceiling paint, light fixtures, window treatments, plants and styling accessories.

Our Denver studio’s designs for the lounge, bar area, and powder room for the Home & Garden Colorado 2021 Designer Showhouse feature unique, eclectic pieces from our SORELLA furniture line, MB Home Collection, and louis + rocco home décor styling rental business. The lounge boasts a light, sunlit look with gray accents and an edgy metal pendant. One-of-a-kind highlights include a beautiful MARIA LAURA table from our SORELLA furniture line and a distinct piano bench we designed. To make the most of this window-endowed penthouse, I designed sleek, pared-down spaces with low-slung lounge seating, floating consoles, and modern Italian pieces. We created a space for our homeowners to house their modest wine collection directly off of the kitchen. This is a custom unit with wooden top and pulls. For character and storage we added black box shelves above.
