I designed a custom bar with a wine fridge, base cabinets, waterfall counterop and floating shelves above. The floating shelves were to display the beautiful collection of bottles the home owners had. To make a feature wall, as an an alternative to the intertia, expense and dust associated with tile, I used wallpaper. Fear not, its vynil and can take some water damage, one quick qipe and done. We stayed on budget by using Ikea cabinets with custom cabinet fronts from semihandmade. In the foyer beyond, we added floor to ceiling storage and a surface that they use as a foyer console table.

This beautiful bar was created by opening the closet space underneath the curved staircase. To emphasize that this bar is part of the staircase, we added wallpaper lining to the bottom of each step. The curved and round cabinets follow the lines of the room. The metal wallpaper, metallic tile, and dark wood create a dramatic masculine look that is enhanced by a custom light fixture and lighted niche that add both charm and drama.

Every detail of this new construction home was planned and thought of. From the door knobs to light fixtures this home turned into a modern farmhouse master piece! The Highland Park family of 6 aimed to create an oasis for their extended family and friends to enjoy. We added a large sectional, extra island space and a spacious outdoor setup to complete this goal. Our tile selections added special details to the bathrooms, mudroom and laundry room. The lighting lit up the gorgeous wallpaper and paint selections. To top it off the accessories were the perfect way to accentuate the style and excitement within this home! This project is truly one of our favorites. Hopefully we can enjoy cocktails in the pool soon!

This prairie home tucked in the woods strikes a harmonious balance between modern efficiency and welcoming warmth. The space, while functional, lacked a dedicated spot for socializing and entertaining. There was a missed opportunity for an area where they could host friends, enjoy casual meals, or simply relax with a drink. The absence of a bar area meant that their kitchen, while practical for cooking, didn't fully cater to their lifestyle needs, which included entertaining and enjoying their space in a more social and relaxed manner. They chose Waypoint 530 Latte cabinets for the bar area, which beautifully matched the kitchen's overall design. The latte tone introduced a subtle contrast to the main kitchen area while maintaining the sleek and modern look. The new bar was equipped with Berwyn Quartz countertops, providing a durable, stylish, and consistent look with the kitchen island, creating a cohesive design flow throughout the space. An elegant touch was added with the installation of an upper glass cabinet featuring two glass doors. This feature not only provided an aesthetically pleasing display area but also enhanced the sense of space in the bar area. The area was enhanced with the MSI Herringbone Mosaic for the backsplash. This choice created a stunning visual impact, elevating the aesthetic and making it a breathtaking focal point in the room.

We love these modern and bright lower slab cabinets in Cement Grey. The added shelving above adds contrast to this bright and airy wet bar.
