Tucked away in the backwoods of Torch Lake, this home marries “rustic” with the sleek elegance of modern. The combination of wood, stone and metal textures embrace the charm of a classic farmhouse. Although this is not your average farmhouse. The home is outfitted with a high performing system that seamlessly works with the design and architecture. The tall ceilings and windows allow ample natural light into the main room. Spire Integrated Systems installed Lutron QS Wireless motorized shades paired with Hartmann & Forbes windowcovers to offer privacy and block harsh light. The custom 18′ windowcover’s woven natural fabric complements the organic esthetics of the room. The shades are artfully concealed in the millwork when not in use. Spire installed B&W in-ceiling speakers and Sonance invisible in-wall speakers to deliver ambient music that emanates throughout the space with no visual footprint. Spire also installed a Sonance Landscape Audio System so the homeowner can enjoy music outside. Each system is easily controlled using Savant. Spire personalized the settings to the homeowner’s preference making controlling the home efficient and convenient. Полувинтовая лестница с кованым ограждением привлекает внимание каждого гостя. Её изогнутый косоур и поручень изготовлены из сосны, а ступени из лиственницы. Лестницу видно при входе в дом и через арку, сидя в столовой. Арку также изготовили на нашем столярном производстве из массива сосны.

お客様の要望であった「ホテルのラウンジのようなリビングにしたい」を如何に具現化するか？その課題として様々な空間構成やエレメントを駆使しました。 勾配天井と化粧梁、庭と繋がる大開口サッシ、暖かみを感じるエタノール暖炉、タリヤセンのスタンド照明・・・・。 そして、これらの要素を全てまとめる主役として、シースルー階段を部屋の中心に配置しました。まさに想像以上の空間が完成し、設計者の私自身も、この仕事の醍醐味を改めて感じました。

Bis zu 1200 Menschen gleichzeitig fast das beliebte Hotel und Ausflugslokal auf den Höhen des Westerwalds. Dort fröhlich feiernd suchen die meisten Gäste auch einmal nach einem kleinen Moment der Stille. Daß dieser Weg auch recht doppelsinnig ein Weg der Erleuchtung sein könnte, veranlasste unseren Hotelier den Gang in die Katakomben für seine kulinarisch verwöhnten Gäste auch zu einem optischen Vergnügen werden zu lassen. Sie sehen den Gabbro / Granit Nero Impala aus Südafrika. Für die maximale Trittsicherheit und rustikalere Optik sorgt die gesandstrahlt und gebürstete Oberfläche. Als Untergrund dient die alte Fliesentreppe. Die von uns individuell konfektionierte LED Beleuchtung hat eine sehr gute Helligkeit.
