Conceptually the Clark Street remodel began with an idea of creating a new entry. The existing home foyer was non-existent and cramped with the back of the stair abutting the front door. By defining an exterior point of entry and creating a radius interior stair, the home instantly opens up and becomes more inviting. From there, further connections to the exterior were made through large sliding doors and a redesigned exterior deck. An outdoor shower was added to the outdoor living space with the same artistry and craftsmanship as found throughout the entire project. The area features a custom shower made of Knotwood with glass tile in Luanda Bay Abruzzo Pearl lining the entire wall. Ipe wood and artificial turf accent the area. Photography by Jimi Smith.

This grand Colonial in Willow Glen was built in 1925 and has been a landmark in the community ever since. The house underwent a careful remodel in 2019 which revitalized the home while maintaining historic details. See the "Before" photos to get the whole picture.

Located near the base of Scottsdale landmark Pinnacle Peak, the Desert Prairie is surrounded by distant peaks as well as boulder conservation easements. This 30,710 square foot site was unique in terrain and shape and was in close proximity to adjacent properties. These unique challenges initiated a truly unique piece of architecture. Planning of this residence was very complex as it weaved among the boulders. The owners were agnostic regarding style, yet wanted a warm palate with clean lines. The arrival point of the design journey was a desert interpretation of a prairie-styled home. The materials meet the surrounding desert with great harmony. Copper, undulating limestone, and Madre Perla quartzite all blend into a low-slung and highly protected home. Located in Estancia Golf Club, the 5,325 square foot (conditioned) residence has been featured in Luxe Interiors + Design’s September/October 2018 issue.
