With minimalist simplicity and timeless style, this is the perfect Rocky Mountain escape! This Mountain Modern home was designed around incorporating contemporary angles, mixing natural and industrial-inspired exterior selections and the placement of uniquely shaped windows. Warm cedar elements, grey horizontal cladding, smooth white stucco, and textured stone all work together to create a cozy and inviting colour palette that blends into its mountain surroundings. The spectacular standing seam metal roof features beautiful cedar soffits to bring attention to the interesting angles. This custom home is spread over a single level where almost every room has a spectacular view of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

This 60's Style Ranch home was recently remodeled to withhold the Barley Pfeiffer standard. This home features large 8' vaulted ceilings, accented with stunning premium white oak wood. The large steel-frame windows and front door allow for the infiltration of natural light; specifically designed to let light in without heating the house. The fireplace is original to the home, but has been resurfaced with hand troweled plaster. Special design features include the rising master bath mirror to allow for additional storage. This modern lake house is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The residence overlooks a mountain lake with expansive mountain views beyond. The design ties the home to its surroundings and enhances the ability to experience both home and nature together. The entry level serves as the primary living space and is situated into three groupings; the Great Room, the Guest Suite and the Master Suite. A glass connector links the Master Suite, providing privacy and the opportunity for terrace and garden areas. Won a 2013 AIANC Design Award. Featured in the Austrian magazine, More Than Design. A series of cantilevered gables that separate each space visually. On the left, the Primary bedroom features its own private outdoor area, with direct access to the refreshing pool. In the middle, the stone walls highlight the living room, with large sliding doors that connect to the outside. The open floor kitchen and family room are on the right, with access to the cabana.

This beautiful riverside home was a joy to design! Our Aspen studio borrowed colors and tones from the beauty of the nature outside to recreate a peaceful sanctuary inside. We added cozy, comfortable furnishings so our clients can curl up with a drink while watching the river gushing by. The gorgeous home boasts large entryways with stone-clad walls, high ceilings, and a stunning bar counter, perfect for get-togethers with family and friends. This efficiently-built Coronet Grange guest house complements the raw beauty of neighboring Coronet Peak and blends into the outstanding natural landscape.

The rear extension is expressed as a simple gable form. The addition steps out to the full width of the block, and accommodates a second bathroom in addition to a tiny shed accessed on the rear facade. The remaining 2/3 of the facade is expressed as a recessed opening with sliding doors and a gable window.

Longhouse Pro Painters performed the color change to the exterior of a 2800 square foot home in five days. The original green color was covered up by a Dove White Valspar Duramax Exterior Paint. The black fascia was not painted, however, the door casings around the exterior doors were painted black to accent the white update. The iron railing in the front entry was painted. and the white garage door was painted a black enamel. All of the siding and boxing was a color change. Overall, very well pleased with the update to this farmhouse look.
