This zero-maintenance faux cedar exterior (except for the real cedar posts and beams) was a dreary old ranch house. The main structure was completely revamped by the architect of record and was executed flawlessly by the contractor.

Another new design completed in Pascoe Vale South by our team. Creating this home is an exciting experience, where we blend the design with its existing fantastic site context, every angle from forest view is just breathtaking. Our Architecture design for this home puts emphasis on a modern Barn house, where we create a long rectangular form with a cantilevered balcony on 3rd Storey. Overall, the modern architecture form & material juxtaposed with the natural landscape, bringing the best living experience for our lovely client.

Built for one of the most restrictive sites we've ever worked on, the Wolf-Huang Lake House will face the sunset views over Lake Orange. ​ Inspired by the architect's love of houseboats and trips to Amsterdam to visit them, this house has the feeling that it could indeed be launched right into the Lake to float along the banks. ​ Despite the incredibly limited allowable building area, we were able to get the Tom and Yiqing's building program to fit in just right. A generous living and dining room faces the beautiful water view with large sliding glass doors and picture windows. There are three comfortable bedrooms, withe the Main Bedroom and a luxurious bathroom also facing the lake. ​ We hope our clients will feel that this is like being on vacation all the time, except without crowded flights and long lines! ​ Buildsense was the General Contractor for this project.

We took our client’s goals and added our design and craftsmanship to make a GREAT outdoor living space with an amazing deck and storage room two-story addition. The North Phoenix home faces north with a stunning view of Lookout Mountain Preserve and the northeast valley. Our client now has an incredible space to enjoy their scenic view. We created a large outdoor living area for entertaining. This beautiful adobe style home’s first floor was built below grade level. The second story of the home is dedicated to the main living space with the kitchen, living room, and dining room. By expanding the deck, and integrating an outdoor kitchen, we created a much larger living space for their home. We built a two-story addition to the back of the house which creates a storage room, of which the roof serves as an additional walk deck space for the new outdoor kitchen (check out the photos). This new uncovered deck directly extends from the existing deck so that it spans the width of the home. The storage room is a secure, temperature-controlled space. With a ceiling height of just over 9’0” and over 200 sq. ft., this room below the new deck addition is the perfect space for secure additional storage.

Richmond Hill Design + Build brings you this gorgeous American four-square home, crowned with a charming, black metal roof in Richmond’s historic Ginter Park neighborhood!
