Una Villa all'Inglese è un intervento di ristrutturazione di un’abitazione unifamiliare. Il tipo di intervento è definito in inglese Extension, perché viene inserito un nuovo volume nell'edificio esistente. Il desiderio della committenza era quello di creare un'estensione contemporanea nella villa di famiglia, che offrisse spazi flessibili e garantisse al contempo l'adattamento nel suo contesto. La proposta, sebbene di forma contemporanea, si fonde armoniosamente con l'ambiente circostante e rispetta il carattere dell'edificio esistente.

C'est à la suite de l'incendie total de cette longère début XVIIème que la rénovation complète a commencé. D'abord les 3/4 des murs d'enceinte ont été abattus puis remontés en maçonnerie traditionnelle. Les fondations ont été refaites et une vraie dalle qui n'existait pas avant a été coulée. Les moellons viennent d'un ancien couvent démonté aux alentours, les pierres de taille d'une carrière voisines et les tuiles de récupération ont été posées sur un complexe de toiture.

Imagine coming home to this beautiful front entrance. The unique driveway is a pleasure to look at and draws your eyes to the beautiful stonework on the home. The black framed windows are trimmed out nicely in white which really makes them stand out against the gray board and batten wood exterior siding.
