APARTMENT BERLIN V Stimmige Farben und harmonische Wohnlichkeit statt kühler, weißer Räume: Für diese Berliner Altbauwohnung entwarf THE INNER HOUSE zunächst ein stimmiges Farbkonzept. Während die Küche in hellen Farbtönen gehalten ist, bestimmen warme Erdtöne das Wohnzimmer. Im Schlafzimmer dominieren gemütliche Blautöne. Nach einem Umzug beauftragte ein Kunde THE INNER HOUSE erneut mit der Gestaltung seiner Wohnräume. So entstand auf 80 Quadratmetern im Prenzlauer Berg eine harmonische Mischung aus Alt und Neu, Gewohntem und Ungewohntem. Das bereits vorhandene, stilvolle Mobiliar wurde dabei um einige ausgewählte Stücke ergänzt. A walk in pantry concealed by a sliding door has been used as a feature. The black frame and pulley system adds a contrast, and compliments the timber well. The character generated by this kitchen comes from the clients ability to accessories this kitchen with heart and passion. An eclectic gather of textures, colors and materials work perfectly together to create a welcoming and functional area to entertain from, and provide for your family. Full high ceiling tiles, open timber shelving, a mixture of timber laminate and concrete bench top surfaces, and an assortment of bar stools all contribute their own special character to this wonderful kitchen.

An eclectic mix of modern and vintage create a funky & fun retro kitchen in this Craftsman home. High gloss cabinets are paired with a wood veneer pantry-surround. Glazed ceramic tile brings in pistachio green and blue as well as texture and curved lines into the space. A vintage rug of red hues contrasts all the cool tones and finishes off the look with an eclectic pattern mix.

Full condo renovation: replaced carpet and laminate flooring with continuous LVP throughout; painted kitchen cabinets; added tile backsplash in kitchen; replaced appliances, sink, and faucet; replaced light fixtures and repositioned/added lights; selected all new furnishings- some brand new, some salvaged from second-hand sellers. Goal of this project was to stretch the dollars, so we worked hard to put money into the areas with highest return and get creative where possible. Phase 2 will be to update additional light fixtures and repaint more areas.

This three story loft development was the harbinger of the revitalization movement in Downtown Phoenix. With a versatile layout and industrial finishes, Studio D’s design softened the space while retaining the commercial essence of the loft. The design focused primarily on furniture and fixtures with some material selections. Targeting a high end aesthetic, the design lead was able to value engineer the budget by mixing custom designed pieces with retail pieces, concentrating the effort on high impact areas.

Having minimal counter space we didn't want to take up any of it with a dish drying rack so we custom built this over the sink model that helps to keep every day items close at hand and out of the way.

The use of handleless doors and features such as the low bench area with open shelves, beside the new picture window, combines practicality with stylish elegance. To keep the space clutter free, áine came up with an ingenious solution. ‘In one corner we designed an appliance nook where kitchen items such as the kettle, toaster, mixers, etc. can be stored. Above this we put a mini larder, finished with bi-folding doors for ease of access. This area is well lit with task lighting. In keeping with the contemporary theme we used contrasting colours, a combination of light grey on the main wall and Maura chose dark navy blue for the island unit which was custom sprayed.

Un graphisme original Dans ce grand appartement, les espaces multifonctionnels et lumineux avaient besoin d’être remis au goût du jour. Nos clients souhaitaient moderniser leur intérieur et mettre en valeur le mobilier existant. Particularité de la cuisine de 20m², la salle à manger se trouve en enfilade derrière l’îlot central. Nos clients ayant déjà opté pour un mur noir en fond nous l’avons accentué en créant un véritable mur de chevrons. Travaillé de manière graphique, ce mur accent apporte beaucoup de charme à ce volume et définit l’emplacement de l’espace repas. Son assise, une banquette XXL réalisée sur mesure s’étend de part en part de la pièce et accueille les nombreuses plantes vertes. Côté cuisine, un relooking a permis de conserver la majorité des meubles existants. Selon le souhait de nos clients, le mobilier en très bon état a simplement été repeint et des poignées en cuir très tendance ont été installées. Seul l’ensemble de meubles hauts a été remplacé au profit d’une composition plus légère visuellement jouant sur des placards de dimensions variées. Au salon, le meuble tv déjà présent est réveillé par une teinte douce et des étagères en chêne massif. Le joli mur bleu séparant les deux pièces est habillé d’un ensemble d’assiettes au design actuel et d’un miroir central qui joue sur la rondeur. En fond de pièce, un bureau épuré et fonctionnel prend place. Le large plan est associé à un duo d’étagères verticales décoratives qui s’élancent jusqu’au plafond pour équilibrer les volumes. Pour les couleurs, des teintes douces et élégantes comme le blanc ou le beige mettent en valeur la luminosité et la décoration. Un contraste entre ces couleurs claires et le noir apportent de la modernité et les tons orangés réchauffent l’atmosphère. Le mobilier épuré et les touches de métal se marient naturellement pour donner du caractère à cet appartement, ergonomique et convivial dans lequel les matières se mêlent les unes aux autres avec simplicité.
