We lifted this house several feet in the air, and reworked all the interior spaces to accommodate three private guest suites, each complete with their own bathroom. The beachy, casual vibe carries throughout the spaces, thanks to the owners' (an architect/artist duo) creative vision. Just steps outside the door, Edmonds vibrant downtown with its delicious coffee, beautiful walks, and fun storefronts await, and the beaches of Puget Sound just a short walk down the road.

This laundry and mudroom has tons of storage. The homeowner also wanted the cat liter boxes hidden away; the solution was to house them in the lower cabinets and create cut-outs for the cats to access.

We weren’t crazy about the bifold doors at first, but we soon realized they are essential to keeping Nacho, The Cat With No Sense of Self-Preservation, from running down the stairs and gorging on all our plants!

What a lovely entryway! With a mix of updated Americana and Eclectic pieces, the family of this home wanted a welcoming and personalized entryway and fell in love with this medium-dark scraped hickory hardwood floor with a high gloss finish to help dress things up some.
