The walls of this formal dining room have all been paneled and painted a crisp white to set off the stark gray used on the upper part of the walls, above the paneling. Ceilings are coffered and a dramatic large pendant lamp is placed centered in the paneled ceiling. A silk light grey rug sits proud under a 12' wide custom dining table. Reclaimed wood planks from Canada and an industrial steel base harden the soft lines of the room and provide a bit of whimsy. Dining benches sit on one side of the table, and four leather and nail head studded chairs flank the other side. The table comfortably sits a party of 12.

This dining room addition was designed with gatherings in mind. The expanded space now offers plenty of room to comfortably seat family and guests for holidays, celebrations, and everyday meals. Surrounded by large windows, the room takes full advantage of the home’s stunning lakefront views, filling the space with natural light and a serene atmosphere. Just beyond, an expansive deck creates a seamless connection to the outdoors, making this the perfect spot for entertaining or simply enjoying the beauty of the water year-round.

Entering the formal living area, you're immediately captivated by how the design has artfully blended different textures and colors to create a unique, inviting atmosphere. The custom gold velvet tufted sofa with polka dot cream and iron framed living chairs draw your eye to the sturdy hammered brass side table with Afro-inspired floor and table lamps. Meanwhile, the black reclaimed wood coffee table is further accentuated by the patterned area rug juxtaposed with the black and white striped side table and walls adorned with a collection of round brass mirrors.

A Norman French-style estate with a manor-born pedigree, this home was designed by celebrated American architect, Harrie T. Lindeberg, evoking the very essence of elegance and sophistication. Its timeless artistry is vividly on display at every turn throughout this property.
